e-States is a crowdinvesting marketplace based on blockchain technology where real estate developers can make institutional-grade commercial properties available to retail investors. Fractionalization unlocks the investment strategies of the wealthy and builds a new connection between developers and investors.

I am the CEO and co-founder of e-States and have been actively involved with everything from the initial business plan to writing some of the code.

For what projects/services did your company hire Idealogic, and what were your goals?

We desperately needed some web rework because our product had been left incomplete by our previous outsourced software team. We needed Idealogic to implement some final integral features as well as clean up the code.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After our mishap with the first team, I made sure that whoever we were going to work with were excellent in communication and absolutely competent when it came to web and blockchain development. After many meetings with Idealogic, I concluded that they were the best fit for our job.

I had many meetings with their sales executive and a couple brainstorming sessions before meeting with their CTO and getting to work. We started with a couple small tasks that didn't require a full team, such as redesigning the landing page and updating some of our smart-contract code.

After seeing that Idealogic was able to deliver work in a timely and fashionable manner, we gave them a full contract to implement several features that required considerable rework and coordination.

From start to finish, I've interacted with seven members of the Idealogic team, including their sales executive, CTO, a project manager, two frontend developers, blockchain developer, and a business analyst.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The simplest metric of measurement is whether or not the platform functions as it should -- and fortunately, after their work, our tokenization process is 100% functional from start to finish. It also looks much better!

We communicated through Telegram and everybody was free to ask questions or converse as needed. We also held a couple video meetings to coordinate the team and get to know each other. The team is very hard working and many of the tasks were knocked out in just a couple of hours. Overall, the rework took a couple weeks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Idealogic has found a fantastic equilibrium between cost and efficiency. As their CTO said, "Our goal is to give you our best work, as quick as possible, on the tightest budget." For our startup, this is exactly what we needed and it's been phenomenal to see the company deliver on that promise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have not run into any issues with Idealogic.

I'm the CIO of a startup company for web and mobile apps. We are in the entertainment industry, and we are creating a ticket service for events.

What challenge were you trying to address with Idealogic?

We needed a company that could help us develop a ticketing app. We initially worked with another company for this app, but we decided to look for another company because we weren’t satisfied with the previous company’s work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Idealogic to take over the development of a ticketing app for iOS and Android. We’ve provided them with the source code that the previous company created for us, which they’ve adapted and rewrote to match our needs and requirements. They’ve also provided us with design concepts and recommendations for the app’s UI/UX. They’re using Flutter, Django for the backend, React.JS for the framework, and GIT for the version support.

We’ve worked with five people from Idealogic, including a backend developer, a data modeling architect, a backend architect, a project manager, and a UI/UX designer.

We found Idealogic on Clutch. We sent out a tender, and they were the fastest to respond. They also created a prototype for us for free.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent somewhere between $50,000–$100,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t launched the app yet. However, we could definitely say that Idealogic has designed an incredibly visually-appealing and easy-to-navigate UI/UX.

How did Idealogic perform from a project management standpoint?

Idealogic has performed well in terms of project management. We did have some problems with our previous project manager, but they were quick to provide us with a new one. They are now consistent in meeting deadlines and staying on top of their tasks.

We use Trello for project management and Google Meet for communication. We have bi-weekly meetings to discuss progress.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re most impressed with Idealogic’s flexibility and personable approach. They’re always eager to accommodate our needs and requests and to satisfy our needs and wants in terms of the product’s development.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could benefit from being more solution-oriented. They sometimes ask me for solutions when I believe they should be responsible for breaking down our problems and giving me options to choose from.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to be very specific about what you want and ask for prototypes.

They were great communicators and really listened to my needs.

The designers at Idealogic met with us over Zoom to hear about our brand and what we were hoping to accomplish with our visual identity. They came back to us with 3 different creative directions to choose from. We chose our favorite option and worked with them to fine-tune it. Their team then integrated the visual identity to our website. The process was very simple and streamlined.

We are developing an app based solution to help drivers to purchase and manage their documentary insurance requirements. We sought the help of Idealogic to help us create and make the system user friendly, and connect with a number of data sources.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of the project was to translate our vision of the app into a fully functional and deliverable product. The team was given the task of creating an iOS and Android application.

How did you select Idealogic?

We conducted an online search for global developers, and came across Idealogic. After contacting a few of the featured companies, we had a series of interviews and provided some information on our project. We asked the potential candidates to submit user stories so that we could get an idea of their approach. Idealogic was the most impressive, and they offered a reasonable price.

The project started with a series of meeting in which we would go over the vision and the customer base we were trying to attract. It was then followed by a phase in which mock-ups would be created and reviewed by the team. at the end of this phase we moved on towards a development phase which would take the largest chunk of time and ended with the final product. During all the phases the line of contact between my team and Idealogic was smooth.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During testing any bugs that were discovered Idealogic addresses the issue immediately and new patch were released within days. We've requested a few minor changes to address usability issue and these were worked on very quickly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow has been excellent throughout, the team is always there to hear what we have to say, regardless of the time or day. Even with the team coming from a different country than my own the was never a language barrier nor a communication issue.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The time and costs which were scheduled were always maintained. The panned meetings started always on time. Any questions I had were always answered very quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The biggest challenge in a project like this is knowing exactly what you want, but if you can find a way to communicate the details to their team, they'll be able to deliver it No. They've been a step ahead of us throughout the process, and we're very pleased with their work overall.

Ubeat investor has found IdeaLogic through Internet search. They were selected after a couple of calls because of their previous works, attitude and work approach that make the whole team credible about their skills.

Ubeat is an open music platform that connects creators and listeners. It's a native app. The app allows to upload, share and listen to an audio as well as save favorite tracks and create playlists. Also users get personalized recommendation lists based on their listening habits. App functionality: 1) Easy and instant upload of the tracks and albums to the platform. 2) Users can share their audio with friends publicly or privately. 3) Massive and constantly expanding library of songs, albums, and lists. 4) Users can save tracks and listen to them both online and offline. Idealogic executed the app from scratch. I have participated as UX consultant.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As a result of our cooperation with Idealogic, we got a stable, redundant and juicy designed app that met all the initial goals. We got wonderful feedback from investors and users that give us confidence that the launch will be done properly.

Communication was held in skype, scheduled calls were never cancelled even if they happened in late night hours for the Idealogic team. There was no language barrier.

Their clear and well-documented development process made the whole process transparent for every party. There were no misunderstandings or schedule issues

I’m one of the founders of a digital innovation studio based in Spain. We deliver creative products and services to our customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Idealogic?

We needed to develop an API for one of our customers, so we needed to find a company that could support our development processes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The goal was to create an API that would act as a middleware for an image processing service that is deployed in the Google Cloud. We needed to provide our users with a very simple and reliable experience where they can register, authenticate, and process multiple images using a complex proprietary algorithm and download the resulting file.

We had a different number depending on the stage of development, but it was always at least one project manager and one developer.

How did you come to work with Idealogic?

I had seen their work before we started working with them, and then when we were looking for freelancers to help us out, their name came upon one of the online platforms. We reached out to them and looked through some of their previous projects before we decided to hire them.

We’ve probably spent about $15,000 at this point.

We started in July 2019 and are continuing to work together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We started with the proof of concept, and they were very flexible in doing that, helping us to test our ideas. From there, they incorporated our feedback and developed an MVP that has functioned very well in everything we’ve used it for to this point.

How did Idealogic perform from a project management standpoint?

We are using a group in Telegram to communicate daily, and that has worked very well for us. Despite the time difference between our companies, the tools we have used like that and Trello have been able to make communicating very easy. They’re very flexible and understand what we’re trying to do.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are just very reliable partners. Their team is always communicative and ready to change their approach or adapt to a different set of needs. We are able to continue our close working relationship because I know I can trust them with whatever I need.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s really nothing I think they should change. We can all always improve, but there’s nothing they’re doing wrong or overlooking at the moment.

I think if you focus on being communicative, you can develop a much better long-term relationship, which will set you up for success with any developer.

Idealogic has a process manager and IT team in place. In our case, they’re more a project manager than a developer. They hired different teams to develop our platform. During the beginning stage, they prepared a first-stage design MVP. We’ll receive a website and application during phase two. The current work is a roadmap for how we’ll build the platform.

We found Idealogic through friends. Our business and Idealogic share a large coworking space in Kiev. It was easy to find each other in the startup and IT business center.

The first stage of the project will cost between $18,000–$20,000.

We received the proposition from Idealogic in April 2019, and the first version of the MVP will be finished in two months.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t had any issues with them, and I’ve even recommended Idealogic to a shareholder at a large local bank. He will be working with them to prepare a website and application for branding purposes. Idealogic is eager to collaborate and are in in-depth discussions with them.

There’s no feedback on the work yet, but I’m happy with our collaboration. After the MVP is completed, we will then consider whether to continue with Idealogic or move on to another company.

How did Idealogic perform from a project management standpoint?

Idealogic is timely, responding quickly to our requests. As the former CTO of a Ukrainian bank, their CEO is knowledgeable about finance and banking. His managers understood all the tasks we’ve given them. Since our offices are close to each other, we communicate in-person.

Compared to other companies, their pricing is reasonable. They maintain lean teams, which can give them more flexibility in terms of pricing. Their business model allows Idealogic to offer the same quality at lower costs.

For what projects/services did your company hire Idealogic, and what were your goals?

after receiving pre-seed funding from angels, we needed to build a demo web-app with all the core features, which included, on top of standard web2 social infrastructure, minting NFTs on Polygon and generating user wallets.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We needed a full-stack solution, with prior web and mobile app experience, and evidence of completing blockchain projects. The team had to be fluent in english and in a timezone compatible with central Europe. The most expensive, dominant providers were outside our budget, and from customer reviews and track record it seemed like Idealogic was the best compromise.

Creating a complete infrastructure for creating user accounts, email verification, custodian wallet creation on the back of that on Polygon testnet, ability to upload and post contents with AWS data storage, live sockets, minting of user-generated contents on polygon and smart contracts to receive instructions from the user interface and trigger actions on-chain.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

All the features within the scope were delivered with good quality. The blockchain aspects were delivered with outstanding pace and quality exceeded expectations. The general UX and non-blockchain features were all delivered per expectations. Design and UI were slightly below expected standards but did the job after some back-and-forth.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team was originally based in Ukraine and went through very difficult times right as the project was starting. In spite of this they delivered the objectives reliably and with remarkable professionalism considering the conditions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Some variability between scoping/quoting and the final billing was left unexplained a couple of times, which created unnecessary discussion and justification for both sides, whereas in the end the bills we ultimately paid were generally fair. Clearer management of expectations could have saved everyone some valuable time, something i'm sure the team will look to improve.
