I’m a managing partner at Boerum Hill Chemist Pharmacy.

What challenge were you trying to address with ideahash?

We needed a partner who could build a website and e-commerce platform and also manage our social media accounts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The website interfaces with our pharmacy mobile app, allowing our clients to log in and access their prescriptions. The e-commerce platform lets our customers more easily access our products, which we advertise on the website. ideahash also worked on our social media (mainly Facebook and Instagram) to market our business to potential and existing customers and bring attention to new products. They wrote blog posts for the site to drive traffic and combined that with traditional marketing, such as postcards. ideahash developed a marketing plan, and we’re currently working on the next steps together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their work allowed us to more easily market our company and products. The platform is more robust and functional. Our conversion rates have increased along with our average customers per day and average price per sale.

How did ideahash perform from a project management standpoint?

They were proactive and met deadlines—we were usually the one that delayed things. They used agile tools and Asana to track the project and measure progress. Unlike many other companies, they were available and accessible whenever we needed them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were a mature and intelligent team that understood our project’s big picture.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of any ways they could’ve improved. If something was wrong, they worked hard to fix it.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

They understand project management well, so let them drive the process. Make sure you have someone who can interface with them regularly and not hold the project back.

Codacity serves small businesses and startups with the tech they need to succeed in a smart, budget friendly way. We helped a local entrepreneur expand his business by building a mobile app to make it easier for users to access his existing services.

For what projects/services did your company hire ideahash ?

We needed a partner on the project to help our client's target audience become aware of the product and explain how it works.

What were your goals for this project?

To increase the number of downloads and users for the client's mobile app.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We investigated throughout my team's network of contacts who could provide digital ads, digital creatives, copy, strategy and reliable reporting. Ideahash was the only entity that we found that would work with us on providing all of those in a seamless package of services.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

They wrote blog posts talking about issues related to the app as well as describing the impact users have had using the app. They developed an animated explainer video for the app's website and YouTube channel.

They also handled creating a Google AdWords and Facebook and Instagram ad strategy, keyword and audience research, copy and creatives for ongoing campaigns

What was the team composition?

A project manager, a copywriter, an ad tech specialist, and an animator.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Out of all the efforts before and after Ideahash worked with us, they got the highest number of new users on a daily basis, which was our primary objective.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very responsive and very effective. We had weekly checkins and often spoke day to day to address various projects and concerns. They made us and our client's work a top priority.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The ability to deliver intelligently on a wide range of digital marketing products and services in tandem with a coherent strategy that they helped develop.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I would say if they could make it easier to have visibility on where all our mini projects are in the pipeline to make coordination of deadlines and changing needs a little easier, that would be ideal, but I think they'll get there.
