We faced the challenge of improving the infrastructure of the database to support heavy traffic on the site. A number of problems in the database have led to a decrease in performance. We re-indexed it so that we restored stability and reduced the time it takes to access the data in the database. This has resulted in tangible benefits for our client – fast indexation is key for the short, several-day sales campaigns on which Veepee is based. In addition, we took care of a consistent and transparent image of the portal and UX optimizations. As part of the actions been taken, we implemented our IDEAerp system. As a result, the customer has been able to use the modules: PIM - Product Information Management; B2B purchases; handling returns as part of the implemented ISO system; sales handling; accounting and personnel data base as well as CAT (Computer-Aided Translations). The latter module supports the translation of the campaign from the supplier (Ventee Privee) from French to Polish.

Dr. Oetker
Dr. Oetker is among the top food producing companies in Europe. The brand's products are recognized by consumers on international markets.
As part of cooperation with Dr. Oetker, we carried out a full redesign of the online store, adapting it to the current trends and standards. Hundreds of hours of work resulted in a well-designed platform. We have increased the intuitiveness and transparency of the site and also combined it in terms of color and functionality. In addition, our main assumptions included the use of Responsive Web Design technology, as well as adapting the site as much as possible for the SEO mechanism.

Operon
Operon is a pedagogical publishing house operating on the educational publications market. Our specialists took care of Magento 2 based platform, thus solving current problems and implementing new functionalities which resulted in the increase of conversion of the e-store. It has been active on the polish market since 2009, before named "House&More". I am an e-commerce and IT manager for Miloo Home and together with my team we have been in charge of the project development.

The previous website has been implemented incorrectly, required a lot of fixes and due to source code modification it has not allowed us to develop it. The goal of the project was to modernise our current e-commerce environment based on Magento 2 and obtain a platform that will support our constant growth and will allow us to face future challenges.

After the conception phase and after setting the initial requirements for the new platform, our team has met with many certified Magento 2 developers. Before signing the contract, we have created a list of goals and functionalities that we would want in our new Magento 2 store with estimated time/cost and priority per functionality. We used the Magento Box theme store as the basis for the development of the platform and we used that document to track our tasks and progress.
It took around 3 months for IDEA to set-up the Magento Box tailored for Miloo's needs. In the same time, IDEA's team has already started working on additional functionalities. We have launched the platform in May 2020 (after 5 months of development) and it has been successful despite small issues (mainly front-end and some SEO issues), none of which caused the website to become inoperational. We were satisfied with how unproblematic the launch was and, currently, the website is still in constant development.

For the project, we had been assigned a project leader, a back-end developer, a front-end developer and a project tester. However, throughout the months the team was assisted by other developers, who helped in resolving some issued or with higher workloads. Since recently, we had been assigned a new a back-end developer and another front-end developer.

The new website is much more user-friendly than the old one and is performing great on mobile, which was one our key priorities. Moreover, we have observed an increase in traffic (except for the first 2 months after launch) and increase in sales. The servers are performing great and we have not seen any stoppages of the platform activity.

IDEA commerce uses a great project management tool that allows us to transparently track the development of the project and developers time and easily introduce new tasks. We have weekly stand-ups that allow us to be in touch with the team and set our priorities. In terms of project management, the project leader has always been available to resolve any doubts and issues and has been guiding the developers in the right direction. In terms of timeliness, that is the only concern and the team has managed to miss some deadlines for the set tasks.

The team definitely has a lot of experience in building Magento 2 e-commerce store and has robust knowledge on integrating it with our current IT environment.

What challenge were you trying to address with IDEA07?
They were our secondary partner; we have a core Magento development team, but we wanted to have a second line for this project. We wanted the flexibility to use as many developers as needed.

IDEA07 works on the front-and backend of our platform. They gained a good understanding of the concept we wanted to develop, and they helped us get the product ready to sell.
