We were trying to create a means to incentivize people to do random acts of kindness through an app, and we hired iCreativeSOL to build that app.

iCreativeSOL built an Android and iOS mobile app for us. They handled everything from the front- to the backend and the data aspect of the app. The team designed the UI/UX and handled the app’s animations. They also helped us find partners for data and messaging. 

Additionally, the team helped us with marketing and promotion. For this, they created a video and gave us access to creative tools.

We worked with 4–5 teammates from iCreativeSOL, ranging from app developers to creatives.

I found them online. As part of our selection process, I vetted about 30 different companies, tasking them all with the same challenge. From there, we narrowed the options down to 10 and then five. iCreativeSOL was the best solution for us.

We spent around $30,000.

We worked together from around February 2020–January 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

iCreativeSOL completed the app beautifully, working efficiently and effectively. We had a very large board of directors who all loved the app. Although we didn’t have a wide release, we had a lot of positive feedback from high-level executives from large companies across the US within our board. When we had the app near completion, our organization was acquired, so we moved away from the project. However, there’s still potential for the app to be utilized.

How did iCreativeSOL perform from a project management standpoint?

They were fantastic at project management. I’ve been in business for over 35 years, and this was one of the best-managed projects I’ve ever worked on. Slack was our most efficient tool for communication. They introduced me to the tool, which was a way for me to communicate with their on- and offshore teams. We also used Zoom for our meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I would highlight two things about iCreativeSOL; the first is how organized they were. The team was very efficient in their communication and delivery, like a well-oiled machine. Secondly, they were willing to work with me on the price point. The team understood my barriers and budget and were able to work within that.

No, they excelled in every area.

The website functions as it should, and they've satisfied my requests. The platform now has more information on it by far, and then, good ease of promoting what I do primarily.

They're always ahead of the game — their team is responsive and fast in getting things done. Regarding tools, we mainly use email, texts, and phone calls to communicate.

They should ask clients their preferred mode of communication. Being in my senior status, I would've preferred phone calls to texts and emails.
