Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and director of a film company, and we make short- and long-form content handle post-production, and market content for a wide range of companies and projects.
What challenge were you trying to address with IBST Ltd?
We had an advert that we wanted to shoot in Nigeria and needed a production partner that was on the ground and knew the area and potential pitfalls and such.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They essentially handled the whole process, providing cameras, sorting out security, and helping with the art direction and other creative aspects of the project. We directed and produced the video, but they really assisted us through the entirety of the planning and filming logistics process.
What is the team composition?
We worked with their crew, which was around 15–20 people, as well as about 50 extras whom they put together for our shoot.
How did you come to work with IBST Ltd?
One of our members had been on a shoot with them before and was quite happy with the quality of their work, so he recommended we try them as well.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $40,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project took place in April–May 2016.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Both we and our client were quite pleased with the outcome of the project, so it was a total success in our book. There were certainly challenges along the way, but they helped us to tackle those as they came and keep the project moving. We want to work with them in the future, so that speaks to our level of satisfaction pretty well.
How did IBST Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?
They did a good job of hitting all the deadlines we gave them. We pushed pretty hard, but they were always right there with us. They’ll put in as much work as they need to in order to get the job done, so I’m always happy to work with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I wouldn’t rather work with anyone else for filming that needed to be done in Nigeria. As far as I’m concerned, they’re the best company for what they do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Considering the constraints of the environment that they’re working in, I really don’t think there’s anything in particular they need to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Communication really is everything, so as long as you don’t let that break down on your side you should have a great experience.

The script was shared and the vendor asked to bid. The second stage was the physical interviews and then the preproduction meeting then the video production.

Very disciplined, stayed on track on time lines maintained a cordial relationship through out with the creative agencies.

the first set of video productions where in time and well received by our audience.
