I'm the CEO of a small SaaS CRM for retail in Brazil

For what projects/services did your company hire Hounders?

Before Hounders we would rely on referrals and inbound marketing for customer acquisition and growth. With Hounders we implemented an outbound (email based) lead generation strategy. Hounders also provided consulting services to help us improve our overall sales strategy and efectiveness.

SOLUTION

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

I knew one of the founders/partners from past projects and when he approached me to help with our sales strategy, I immediately accepted.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The first step was for Hounders to interview existing customers and map our sales processes and tecniques. Then they implemented a new customer acquisition strategy based on email outreach. The scope of their work went from identifying lists of possible customers, to making contacts with them by email and phone and qualifying customers before scheduling meetings for our sales rep.

Describe the recruitment process in detail.

Hounders offered to analyse our current sales process e provide some feedback at no cost. With this feedback, they created a detailed improvement plan and after several months of working together, we signed a contract for them to implement a new outbound lead generation strategy based on email and phone.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

The number of qualified leads doubled in comparison to previous year, despite of the COVID-19 pandemic.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was efective, with weekly meetings and frequent exchanges via Whatsapp.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This is the first time we work with an outside firm to help our sales effort, so I don't have anything to compare them with, but I am very satisfied with their services.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We discussed going beyond email and using other tools such as Linkedin and Instagram to acquire leads.
