Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for The Caputo Group, a licensed professional employer organization with a nationwide reach. We provide back-office support, including HR services, payroll and benefits management, and so on.
What challenge were you trying to address with The Hood Collective?
We lacked high-quality media to put on our website, so we needed someone to produce videos that we could upload.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The Hood Collective produces testimonial videos for us. They work closely with our marketing team to interview our clients and partners. They conduct everything from the filming to the editing.
Currently, we’re working on two projects with The Hood Collective. In the future, we plan on expanding the scope to include photography.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with Decater (Owner) and a sound specialist.
How did you come to work with The Hood Collective?
I’d known Decater for years and was familiar with his public events work, which led us to hire him. Additionally, I participated in one of the interviews he conducted for one of their clients, and they did a fantastic job.

We’ve spent $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in August 2019, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We don’t have any metrics because we haven’t launched the videos yet, but we’re delighted with The Hood Collective. Furthermore, the people they’ve interviewed are thrilled with the videos. They even plan on using some clips for their efforts.
The videos are also very effective. We’ve been sending out the videos to prospective clients who ask for testimonials, and we’ve successfully gotten some huge prospects.
How did The Hood Collective perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is very effective. The team is responsive and always available. They’re also flexible when it comes to scheduling and communication. We’ve used phone calls, text messaging, email, and so on.
The Hood Collective is always on top of everything and works very quickly. They’ve effectively coordinated with our clients and us to make things as seamless as possible.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re just so reasonable and transparent, and their pricing is absolutely amazing. I’ve worked with three other vendors, but The Hood Collective stands out due to their cost-effective prices and high-quality work.
They’re excellent and easy to work with. Since the team has experience in every industry, it’s easy for them to connect with our clients and conduct interviews. They’ve also given us valuable insight into video production. Decater is very good at what he does — I couldn’t have asked for a better partner.

No, there’s nothing they could do better.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust them and let them do their thing. They’re true professionals who will give you great insights. However, the team is also willing to try things your way if needed.
