The scope of work for this project included the following steps and key deliverables: Initial consultation: We had an initial consultation with you to discuss your goals and needs for the website, as well as your target audience and any specific functional or technical requirements. Website design: Based on the information gathered in the initial consultation, we created a custom design for your website using Figma.

This included the overall layout, color scheme, and branding elements. Development: Using the approved design, we developed and built your website using Webflow. This included any necessary custom functionality or integrations. We used Webflow as the underlying technology for the website. Testing and launch: Before launching the website, we conducted thorough testing to ensure it was functioning correctly and meeting all of your requirements.

Once everything was finalized, we launched the website and made it live for your audience. Training and support: After the website was launched, we provided training and support to your team to help them manage and update the website as needed. We also provided ongoing technical support and maintenance to ensure the website remained stable and operational.

Derrick has been an invaluable asset in launching our SaaS website. His expertise in Webflow allowed us to maximize the platform's capabilities and create a custom, functional, and visually appealing website. His design skills are outstanding and his knowledge of web design is impressive. I highly recommend Derrick to anyone seeking a skilled and capable web designer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Maybe longer support period, we loved having him around.

I am the owner of an Electrical firm based in South London. We have recently decided to rebrand into Smart Home Systems, Automation and Integration.

From conception of the company, I had designed my own website with Wix to keep costs down. As the company has grown and we realised that the website was getting a number of hits with minimal advertising, it was time to have the website designed by a professional. We hired Hilvy to design the new website and focus on the key services the company now provides. We also wanted to fund the advertising of the company in the form of SEO (ranking higher in google organically for certain key words).

Our goals were to:

1. Have a professionally made website to our specification.
2. See the traffic of the website increase month to month with searches of specific key words.
3. Hopefully see an increase in the number of leads generated from the website.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had Hilvy previously design the companies logo which is our key branding. This was done to a professional standard and is now used on all of our correspondence, vehicle fleet, social media and everything in between. After getting in touch regarding web development and having a look at their portfolio, we were confident they would be able to design to the level we desired and also increase the SEO side of the design.

Once the initial consultation was had, we had some "homework" from HIlvy to demonstrate what we was looking for in a website. Once this was handed over, it was transferred to a document which had live updates where I could change, amend and add ideas etc and visa versa. This was critical in ensuring the website was designed accordingly. Throughout, various versions were presented with updates and tweaks until the launce. We have seen an increase in traffic and the overall design was what was expected.

We had one individual (Derrick) who project managed, designed and liaised with us throughout the project. I believe he was the owner of Hilvy.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have begun to see an increase in the amount of traffic coming to the website. The professional design and attractive landing page presents the company in a favourable light, especially in comparison to the competion. Customer's feel welcomed to the firm from the website and know instantly that they have a professional but friendly company to deal with their desires. We had a number of ideas in our mind when consulting with Hilvy and somehow (if by magic) they were able to transfer all of these into the web design with fluency.

The project manager was highly informative and professional throughout the entire project. With detailed time scales and consistent updates, we new where were at weekly. We had a number of versions before the final website design which were able to discuss over email, phone and face to face to tweak certain areas. When the new versions were available, this was communicated by email with a spoke video to show and detail all changes made, how things operated and what we could do with the website ourselves.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As newer versions were added to the project, Hilvy presented these with a voiced over video which highlighted changes and features of the website. This was very efficient and effective in detailing key points throughout the design process.
