Highlight Films was established in 1998 by Noam Shalev with offices in Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Soon afterwards we became Israel’s leading production services house, specializing in documentary, corporate, news and reality productions.
Highlight Films’ professional team works in close relations with many leading production companies and International broadcasters.
We provide all production services for international TV programs: documentary films, a variety of corporate videos and news reports, all filmed in Israel and the Palestinian Authority; Additionally, we have extensive experience in specialties such as: aerial filming, Vr 360, Imax and 3D. Our extensive stock footage library is available for online licensing.
Most of our customers are production companies, TV networks (Netflix, National Geographic, BBC), commercial companies (Microsoft, Twitter, Amazon, HP) and public organisations (The World Bank, Yale) from all over the world. Over the years, we have repeatedly partnered with these and other clients on a variety of their projects in Israel and the Middle East.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of production at a film company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Highlight Films Israel?
We needed a production services company based in the Middle East to assist us in executing a film shoot.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Highlight Films Israel was in charge of logistics and supplying the equipment needed for the production. Their team helped with transportation, scheduling, providing film equipment and hiring crew members. They were the fixer in the region. Every film shoot has a fixer that handles the permits needed and any problematic situations that can arise in a foreign country.
What is the team composition?
We worked with about six people. The main roles were the fixer, a researcher, and a person who facilitated transportation.

Make sure communication is smooth and that everything runs through Noam. It is vital that your company requests an experienced person in each position.
