How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected this Heyday based on first impressions and not price. In fact Heyday was not the cheapest but they were the most professional and from the onset I felt like I was in good hands

Heyday was employed to write blog post for our company. It was good to see how everything was done online and quite seamless (once the old person me worked out how to use the system)

What challenge were you trying to address with Heyday - Digital Marketing Agency?

We hired Heyday to alleviate the pressure of marketing off of us; that way, I could have someone else manage our marketing efforts for me. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Heyday initially had a meeting with us and introduced us to their whole team. Then, they told us what each team member was going to do for the marketing campaign they planned for us. The team also did PPC campaigns for a month and a half. Moreover, the team did content for us, such as fliers and brochures for Instagram.

We worked with Maria (Co-Founder), who served as our marketing coordinator.

I found Heyday through a friend of a friend.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $1,000–$2,000 per month. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement lasted from August 2021–May 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We had the whole month of December 2021 completely booked, and we had to open even during weekdays. 

How did Heyday - Digital Marketing Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Heyday managed the project extremely well, especially since we had all of our ideas and demographics together. We already knew what we were targeting, and they relieved a lot of our stress. To communicate, we used WhatsApp group chats, phone calls, and text messages. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They had an amazing team and a beautiful office. Their resources were welcoming; we felt like they became part of our team instead of just people who provided services for us — we gained an entire marketing team.

Overall, they did an amazing job. They were always punctual and talked to me over the phone, ensuring that the marketing campaign was to my liking. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have an intact business plan. Apart from that, you should be familiar with Google Analytics, PPC, and other things like that. Heyday will surely explain these things thoroughly to help you understand. They’ll relieve all the pressure you might be feeling from marketing campaigns. They will even help you answer emails and Instagram messages — they’ll be on top of everything.

clients are very happy with the client portal. Now 80% of customers pay online instead of over the phone or in-person.

weekly progress updates via email as well as emails as they passed major goal posts.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They understood the experience we wanted to deliver to our client as no other company could. Many marketing companies can deliver very nice front-end pages with no back-end or integration and Heyday was able to deliver both.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

On occasion our website becomes unavailable because wordpress on the back-end of the website requires an update and it has not been done. Heyday addresses it within a couple hours, but it would be nice if they had some sort of maintenance to avoid this issue.

The email campaigns worked well along with the Rebranding efforts on Google and restaurant platforms. Social media also was a key factor and is ongoing.
