Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the president of Brand & Buzz -- a strategic communications PR firm specializing in building "brands" and generating "buzz." Our work is very hands-on, solution-focused and creative. When we need video production, Henninger has been our go-to partner.

What challenge were you trying to address with Henninger Media Services?

We've worked with Henninger Media Services on video production with phenomenal results.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Henninger films, edits, and captures clear audio. They provide camera, light, and sound crew members. When our client had a project in Florida, Henninger was able to secure quality partners to work on our project. The results were fanastic. 

What is the team composition?

For most of our projects, I've worked directly with Sue (Director of Marketing & Senior Producer, Henninger Media Services). Depending on the scope, she's pulled in camera, lighting and audio experts. 

How did you come to work with Henninger Media Services?

I’m not sure how I first came into contact with them, but from the beginning, I was so impressed with just how easy it was to work with them. The owner is both talented and knowledgeable and asks all the right questions, so I knew it was going to be a good fit.

How much have you invested with them?

We've worked on several projects together -- most are in the $10,000 ballpark.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our first project was probably 3–4 years ago, and the last project we completed was this past summer. I know we'll work together again.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My clients have been incredibly happy with their videos -- successfully using them to market and grow their organizations. Our most recent project, Henninger filmed on multiple locations and were able to use their relationships to secure space at the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum. They filmed a dozen kids, client and military leaders weaving a narrative that helped my client attract new applications to their leadership academy. Henninger edited the interviews with potential candidates in mind -- producing a compelling video capturing the fun, excitement, opportunities presented. It was a great campaign.

How did Henninger Media Services perform from a project management standpoint?

They're great. When Henninger is producing videos, I know my clients are in good hands. There are never any complications or delays. Most importantly, their team is very thoughtful about the process. They provide actionable feedback about where you can save money and where you shouldn’t skimp. They understand that video is an investment. Henninger helps you think through the process keeping your audience in mind.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have the ability to completely eliminate drama from the process. Creative processes like videography tend to draw artists, but those people are not necessarily trained to be business people as well. Henninger Media Services is super buttoned-up, and when they say they’re going to do something, they do it. If there are any challenges that they see with the material or anything else, they’re very good at communicating that to you early and proposing solutions. There are never any surprises when you’re working with them.

I've been so impressed with how easy it is to work with them. Their team is both talented and knowledgeable. They ask all the right questions to make sure that projects run smoothly. There is no drama - and no "surprises." All of our videos have been well-planned and produced. They come in on time and on budget. They're a professional team that delivers excellent results; they're worth the investment.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I really can’t think of anything — even their office is fun. They decorate for holidays and put out candy, and who doesn’t want candy? On a more serious note, they’re competitively priced and they do great work, so I don’t have any complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be honest, because they are really genuine, hardworking people. If you embrace them as a partner they will be able to solve your problems and provide really high-quality work.
