What challenge were you trying to address with Helomatrix Innovations?

We hired Helomatrix Innovations to help us build and execute the complete technical foundation of the Astrologically app, an astrology-based platform intended to offer personalized horoscope insights, chart analysis, and premium user experiences. Our objective was to translate complex astrological logic into a seamless, user-friendly digital product.

They integrated astrology-based calculations, natal chart interpretation flows, and backend user-data architecture. The collaboration with Helomatrix Innovations resulted in clear, measurable progress across both product development milestones and business readiness. Overall, the most significant outcome was that we moved from idea stage to a testable, launch-ready astrology marketplace, which is a substantial milestone for a project of this scale. Moreover, 30+ astrologers signed up and completed profile setup for testing and internal trial sessions. 120+ early users completed onboarding and explored the platform’s core features. 40+ consultation requests were successfully processed during our internal testing cycle. The average session booking time (from profile browse to payment) was under three minutes, indicating an intuitive UX flow. The platform maintained 99% uptime during testing, showing stability and backend efficiency.

How did Helomatrix Innovations perform from a project management standpoint?

Helomatrix Innovations demonstrated structured and reliable project management throughout the engagement. Their approach included clear milestones, defined phases of delivery, and well-organized handoffs during critical parts of the build. While there were occasional moments where communication updates could have been more frequent, overall, they remained responsive, solution-focused, and proactive when it came to resolving blockers. Moreover, their execution allowed us to begin internal testing and onboarding earlier than our original business timeline, which was a key benefit for us. Minor refinements and UI polish continued post-MVP, but the primary development milestones were achieved as committed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

What stood out the most was their ability to take a deeply conceptual, niche idea — an astrology consultation marketplace with complex logic — and translate it into a structured, working product with clarity and precision. Their team didn’t just “code what we asked for”; they actively contributed ideas, suggested scalable structures, and understood the user psychology behind spiritual and consultation-based platforms. Two qualities were especially impressive:Their combination of speed, product ownership mindset, and genuine willingness to collaborate set them apart from typical development agencies.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At certain stages, especially during minor feature revisions, communication could have been more proactive. Weekly milestone updates or tighter feedback loops would have helped streamline progress. Although the core UI/UX was delivered well, some cosmetic finishing touches (animations, micro-interactions, color consistency) required revision and could have been refined earlier in the process. Moreover, admin panel usage manuals and API documentation were eventually delivered, but having them available earlier would have sped up internal onboarding on our side. Lastly, a slightly longer built-in testing window before delivery handover would have helped resolve smaller bugs without scheduling additional revision cycles.

Overall, the experience was positive, but there are a few areas that could enhance future collaborations even further:These points are more about refinement than major issues — the core delivery and outcomes were strong, but tightening these areas would elevate the experience to an exceptional level.
