Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the broker and owner of Re/Max Equinox.
What challenge were you trying to address with HellMedia?
We wanted to improve our online visibility and lead generation efforts. The goal is to make my brokerage the first result in search engines for my city.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided a range of services, including SEO and online advertising. They ran Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and other paid ad efforts. They brought their own ideas, gave me advice, and made recommendations on which direction we should go in.
What is the team composition?
A couple of people were working with us, but Jean (President & Digital Marketer) was my main point of contact.
How did you come to work with HellMedia?
They reached out to me and showed me how they could help position my brokerage as the top result. I gave them a try, it was successful, so we continued to work together.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from October 2019–January 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I was really impressed with their work. They’ve helped us increase our online visibility and generate leads. We have many leads coming in for our focus area on pre-construction condominiums, which is great.
How did HellMedia perform from a project management standpoint?
We had a weekly catch up, sometimes a five-minute call because we were very busy. They were really respectful of our time and were patient with us. Sometimes it would take a few days to get them their requested information, but they never complained and always worked around our schedule.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The personalization and face-to-face attention they gave us was really important to me. Knowing the people we work with was great. They really care about their clients. They gave 100% more than we expected and focused on always adding value.

No, not that I know of.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner and founder of Pink Media Events. We assist with corporate, nonprofit, and private wedding events. We also do promotion and marketing for them.
What challenge were you trying to address with HellMedia?
We started with a rebrand. The company was called something else, and I wanted to expand into different events. We were primarily driven by the wedding season. We reached out to HellMedia to see where to go.
We needed a lot of work and had no one in-house with digital marketing expertise at the time.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The team at HellMedia helped with our website and Google Ads. For the website, we requested multiple pages for each event we specialize in. The language and SEO had to be changed. They helped us create metadata for Google Ads and specific landing pages for the wedding show season.
They also set up our social media. We discussed ideas for contests that would attract people to our landing pages. We follow the social media plan that they put in place to grow those accounts. For our nonprofits, we also set up a social media and landing page for them now because of our work with HellMedia.
What is the team composition?
We primarily dealt with the boss. I was nervous about the rebranding and needed someone at the top to take care of it. We’ve also worked with copywriters and link builders. I believe we’ve dealt with three different people.
How did you come to work with HellMedia?
I believe that one of my coordinators found them online. We went with HellMedia because of their attitude. I wanted to rebrand with that attitude.

We’ve invested over $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started our work with HellMedia in June 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The growth is phenomenal. Their SEO work has caused a few of our event pages to rank. Even through COVID-19, our nonprofit landing page jumped. I’m ecstatic about the new brand and look. We get a lot of comments about Pink Media, and people are starting to recognize it. It makes us a lot bigger than we were. We’re starting to see leads on social as well.
Their customer service is top-notch. Any question I have, HellMedia has an answer. Whether it’s related to what they’re doing or guidance on what we need to do, they have an answer.
I love the fact that they tell the truth. In the beginning, I had a vision in mind. In the first couple of meetings, they were upfront about keeping it real. We had no SEO in place, and they let us know what we were actually capable of. I appreciated that. That trust is why we continue working with them.
Now, we’re referring them to our own clients. Like for instance, with COVID-19, we can’t have events. They’ve become a consultant, giving us ideas about what we can do and helping us along the way.
How did HellMedia perform from a project management standpoint?
We receive weekly reports. If we’re working on something new, we hear something daily. The workflow is very clear. I always know who’s taking care of what, and I have a contact person for every part of the journey.
I also like the feedback we get as everything unfolds. I feel like they’re watching our results constantly. They always let us know if they’re seeing a dip or rise, bringing forth opportunities for us to grow. The process feels flawless to me.
Sometimes there’s a slight language barrier because some of their team is French, but it does help out when we have to create bilingual work.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re fast and honest. They’ll tell the truth, even if it’s something that clients don’t want to hear. When I recommend HellMedia, that’s what I say to their potential clients.
That honesty is rare. I’ve attempted several efforts in the past, and I never got the same understanding as I do with HellMedia. They take the time to explain the why.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’ve been pretty excellent with us. We’ve had a positive experience with them so far.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just meet with them. You have nothing to lose. They do their research, so they come armed with the next steps before you even sign with them. I highly recommend that initial consultation.
