BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I co-founded Spotlight Kids NY, a children's theater company. We're an after-school program that introduces kids to all aspects of theater, including props, costume design, script memorization, and stage management. At the end of the semester, students showcase their work for family at a real theater.

We hired them to develop the concept, design, layout, and functionality for a website. The website needed to display semester updates and a payment portal. 

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a clear, concise UX that was intriguing to children yet functional and useful for parents.
