Please describe your company and your position there.

I am Co-Founder of a company who specializes in providing advertiser and publisher software and analytics tools. By creating a very cost effective ad tracking solution we remove barriers to entry and provide both advertisers and publishers the tools they need to track ad spend and monetize online inventory.

For what projects/services did your company hire HashRoot Ltd?

We originally created our tracking application as an in house solution to meet our needs in a data center using bare metal servers for app and database hosting. During this time the team mainly focused on troubleshooting and solving our sever and Database issues.

However, in order to scale and whitelabel our product several projects were completed in the new data center by the HashRoot team.

1. Server infrastructure design and creation

3. Ability to easily create new servers/app instances for new clients.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main objective was to be able to create a new app instance for a new client (along with all the required resources) in minutes not days or weeks. The HashRoot team made that happen.

How did you select this vendor?

I originally selected the HashRoot team as to manage and trouble shoot a database due to their reasonable pricing. Over the years they have solved many of our DB and app server related issues. So the trust factor was developed. When it was time to migrate our app they took the time to understand our needs. They came up with a great plan for a successful implementation.

Describe the project in detail.

The HashRoot team provided us with a great team lead that designed that took the time to understand our concerns. After a few meetings of discussing the objectives the cloud engineer provided a detailed plan for everything that was needed to seamlessly create new clients resources and scale.

What was the team composition?

The cloud engineer served as the main point of contact and gave us updates every couple of day on the current objective progress. He was there to answer any of our questions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It's been a couple of months since the HashRoot team completed the data center migration project. We have since taken the time to improve our app and are finally ready to to bring our solution to market.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Overall the experience was great. From the beginning defined objectives were clear and the path from completion to creation never deviated. Communication was never an issue and the HashRoot team was always there to give advice to all of our concerns.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The cloud engineer assigned to our project was great. He took care of everything we needed. He always there to help and was an extension of our own team.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The project took a bit longer than expected, but that may be do to our limited budget. So far we are very happy with the infrastructure created by the HashRoot team.

I'm CEO and founder of VeryGames, company from France, providing hosting services for gamers wolrdwide.

We needed to extend our staff to manage the global machines and softwares pool, and help integrating new softwares.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal is to have strongest hand on the whole IT (up-to-date software/hardware for security/stability etc..) and new ressources for R&D.

Received an email describing the company/activity at the perfect timing, and decided to take the opportunity.

Hashroot staff is managing our Linux and Windows server pool (300 dedicated servers in EU/US/APAC), and maintaining various softwares.

What was the team composition?

We started with 2 sysadmins for a few months. Then we asked for 2 more but they did not fit requirement. Hashroot found 2 new techs very fast with the good profile. So the staff is 4 sysadmins for now, working as a team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have an up-to-date machines pool now, and are even pro-active on futures updates. Also, ressources stock managment is smoother than ever as Hashroot staff can install is very fast.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Hashroot Ltd staff is available if any problems arise. They're also very responsive. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their staff is very stable and I really appreciate this. This allow having growing experience on our ecosystem, giving more and more efficiency along the time.

In 2016, we decided to reorganize the structure of our tech support workflow. From having three different teams in two continents, we decided to consolidate everything under one vendor. We sent some of our tech support managers to HashRoot’s headquarters to train their staff on our operations and internal procedures.

They’ve helped us lower operating costs, improve response time for our customers, and increase overall customer satisfaction. Everything is headache-free and on autopilot.

From the beginning, it has been fairly smooth. We are dealing with an experienced team who also assists other companies in our industry.
