OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with harpLabs?

We reached out to harpLabs to develop a mobile app, allowing us to offer our customers a new digital experience. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

HarpLabs designed and developed a mobile app for iOS and Android from scratch, allowing users to access insurance information. Features include claims reporting capabilities, access to stored documents, telematics, and a rate-my-driving function. 

What is the team composition? 

I mostly worked with Mina (Owner, harpLabs), but he may have managed others working on the project as well.

How did you come to work with harpLabs?

A friend of mine recommended them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $80,000–$100,000 per year. It was a good value for the scope of work. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in August 2012 and launched it soon after, but continued working with them until February 2019. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The app they built had a significantly positive impact on the level of service we've been able to provide our customers, reducing friction points along the way. We've also received a lot of positive feedback from users overall. 

How did harpLabs perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very responsive, personable, and paid a lot of attention to detail. We had no problem reaching them by phone or email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They went over and above expectations to ensure we were happy with the end result.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think so.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

No, but I'd definitely recommend working with them.
