I am a clinical pharmacist for a hospital.

I hired Guaranteed Removals to encourage positive content to show before the one negative content for me when new potential employers google my name. I have negative PDF posting of an incident at work that occurred years ago that did not effect my pharmacist license or ability to practice, but has been reported to the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, and subsequently a PDF posting of the incident shows up when my name is googled.

Although pharmacists have immense responsibility to catch errors from physicians, nurses, etc , we are after all human, and we cannot possibly catch every single error every single time. An ED physician had made an error entering an incorrect dose for a patient, and I had failed to catch it. Please factor in that hospitals are constantly under budget restraints, and short staffed.

Sometimes there's only one pharmacist taking care of the entire hospital- ICU, ER, OR units, NICU, Medical Surgical Units. Although the patient was not harmed, I felt even more tremendous pressure to be perfect. I pride myself for being a perfectionist but this one negative incident should not tarnish my reputation forever. Pharmacists carry a huge liability and responsibility that people do not realize. Behind the scenes, we are managing, dosing, and correcting physician/provider orders so that medications reach the patient safely.

Because we are behind the scenes, not many people understand exactly our role is in the healthcare field. We are not only valuable resources for drug information that patients, nurses( and now PA's) and doctors have relied on historically, but also safety nets to prevent serious harm to the patient in the hospital setting. This one bad experience has taught me how much physicians need and rely on pharmacists to look out for them.

What were your goals for this project?

My goals for this project is to place positive content before the one negative pdf content that I was concerned would impact my potential for future employment. I am a good pharmacist , but this content reflects badly on me, and a potential employer may not realize this after viewing my one negative content on the internet.

I am not sure the exact composition of the team. The name of my account manager was Jonathan who was fantastic. He was kind, professional, empathetic, and extremely understanding. I couldn't have had a better account manager.

I have noticed employers looking at my LinkedIn but I do not exactly know the actual results of this endeavor until I find a new job.

The workflow was great. Jonathan is the only person I corresponded with, but the communication was excellent.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

First, this company is Canadian which I trust more than some American companies that are after greed and blood. They were approachable, communicative, and very understanding of my needs. They also took the time to listen to what my circumstance and consistently reassuring me that they are working on achieving the goal.

The company is good one. I highly recommend them to anyone who is struggling due to one negative content on the internet (especially google) that can ruin them.

I’m a music teacher that teaches drums, bass guitar, violin, viola, and piano. I also coach children’s rock bands.

What challenge were you trying to address with Guaranteed Removals?

I needed help removing an image of me off of Tumblr. I work with children now, so I didn’t want that image to be the first thing parents see when they Google me.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Guaranteed Removals tried to get the image removed but, like me, they weren’t able to remove the image because it didn’t violate Tumbler’s terms of service.

 Instead, they offered to bury that image with pictures of me so that it would be so far down in Google images that people won’t see it when they Google me.

Their strategy was to have multiple journalists post interviews with me in them with my picture attached so Google images would be flooded with new images. They also offered to replace my website.

I worked with 5–6 people from their team.

I found them on Google. They looked very professional and had great reviews. Their SEO was pretty good, too.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent $2,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2020, and I told them I didn’t want to work with them in July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They did an unsatisfactory job. A lot of the articles didn’t have the image attached and it actually made my internet presence worse. I asked them for a refund since they couldn’t bury the image but they refused. The website they created was very childish and I lost access to the website I was using before.

How did Guaranteed Removals perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via phone and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They technically did what they said they would. The caliber of the work was just abysmal. If you’re selling burgers, charge for burgers. Don’t charge for fillet mignon.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They tried to charge me again but I closed my account. They were overpriced and couldn’t actually do what I needed them to do. Overall, I was not impressed.

It has been 16 months since I started that project and I have not looked back.

I was initially unsatisfied with their link removal services as they did not help me remove the negative links that I assigned. However, since I switched over to their PRM program, I've been experiencing a lot of success. The program has drastically helped me improve my online brand and I have one of their members - Abel to thank for.

It was very effective. They were very responsive, professional, and respected their clients.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was quite impressed with their PRM program. Initially, I was only giving this program a 3-4 month try. However, after working with Abel for 2 months, his professional attitude as well as his care for my campaign made me stay long term. I have been working with Abel and his team for well over 16 months by now and I'm still a very happy client.

Link removal aspect can be improved. While it's true that they don't charge you anything if they are unsuccessful in removing the negative content, I really hoped that they would be successful in removing the negative content.

They’re in the business of removing sensitive content on the Internet. That’s what I worked with them to do, after finding unflattering things related to me online. They were tasked with making them go away.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The primary service they provide is erasing content from the Internet. At the time, there was sensitive information available to the public on the Internet that I wanted to hide. We worked together to accomplish that. They have another service that I didn’t use where they promote favorable content for you—it’s almost like PR. I didn’t use those services, though.

I had consistent, direct contact with Destiny (Paralegal Specialist, Guaranteed Removals).

I was aware of the content I wanted to get rid of and saw a news segment that indicated that companies like Guaranteed Removals exist. From there, I Googled companies that do that and decided to work with them based on our initial phone call.

Everything was taken care of in October 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Not only was Guaranteed Removals very easy to work with, but they were also 100% effective in removing sensitive content. I’m extremely satisfied with their service. My representative, Destiny, was beyond helpful and courteous. She was compassionate about my situation, was patient with all my questions, professional, and effective at her job. I’d recommend working with them based on that.  

How did Guaranteed Removals perform from a project management standpoint?

Destiny’s performance is really what drove me to leave such a glowing review. I paid extra for them to expedite their services, cutting down on their usual 90-day timeframe. They did everything within the accelerated timeframe that we decided upon. The communication was also excellent throughout the process. Destiny would respond to my emails the same day.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They do exactly what they advertise and promise. Customers aren’t even charged if they aren’t able to get the content off the Internet. That’s why it’s called Guaranteed Removals—you won’t pay unless the task is accomplished.

I really can’t think of anything. They completed the task in a timely manner with extreme courtesy.

We engaged Guaranteed Removals to delete google reviews that were posted by a competitor that I wasn't able to get help from Google support to remove.

The sales rep we dealt with clearly laid out the service and expectations that we would only pay after a review was removed and that it wasn't a guarantee that any or all of the reviews could be removed. After we signed on our account manager reached out and onboarded us and let us know that they'd provide us updates on the project as they happened.
