Growcode has conducted over 40 conversion rate experiments in our year-long cooperation. They began by performing an audit and brainstorming ideas for potential changes. Each theory was A/B tested, and only the highest performers were implemented. Many of their efforts revolved around making modifications to our shopping cart, checkout, product, and category pages.

What was the team composition?

We were assigned a dedicated team. Most of our interactions were with a team leader, but we also had access to specific team members if we needed it. The team was comprised of a project manager, a graphic designer, a UX specialist, and several frontend developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We wanted to achieve at least a 10% lift in our conversion rate. Ideally, we wanted to see a 20% to 40% increase.

How did you select this vendor?

Growcode spoke with us on the phone and conducted a short business analysis to understand our situation. Next, they prepared a webinar to demonstrate how they could improve our store. Finally, we had a short video call to discuss working together.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

The project took six months. During this time, Growcode conducted four optimization sprints. Each sprint had seven steps: analyzing user behavior, creating recommendations from data, designing low-fidelity prototypes, designing graphics, coding in Swift, running A/B tests, and analyzing implementations. We had different strategies for mobile and desktop.

The statistical significance of the first sprint wasn't sufficient. After the second sprint, however, we saw a 10% conversion rate increase on mobile and an 8% increase on desktop. The third sprint boosted our average order value by 17% on mobile and increased desktop conversions by 9%. The fourth sprint improved our desktop conversion rate by 11%.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We used Basecamp to manage the whole project and had a video conference to discuss the results of every milestone. We had a direct phone number for the team lead. When we got stuck and didn’t respond, they kindly reminded us to stay on the right track.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of our communication was a big positive. Growcode described benchmarks clearly and kept us on the right track. We could measure the results of their work and specifically tie them to additional revenue, which made it easy to gauge a clear ROI.

Conducting the whole project without involving our web developers was also great. It took only a few minutes at the beginning of our cooperation to implement a small JavaScript snippet.
