I am Nida Shehzad, the Lead, Digital & Innovation at Sehat Kahani, a health-tech enterprise that aims to democratize healthcare by utilizing this untapped pool of female physicians and connecting them with underserved patients, providing them with affordable and quality healthcare services using tele-medicine.
My role revolves around managing the tele-medicine technology of the company, digital marketing and managing a network of female doctors.
For what projects/services did your company hire Grocode?
Our previous website was 2 years old, did not deliver the complete message of the organisation, and crashed a lot. We were looking for a team to revamp our website and that is when Team Grocode was recommended to us by our partner who had previously worked with them.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted a holistic website that clearly depicted the 3 business verticals we work on, while giving it a new age, chic look and feel and staying true to our brand image.
We also wanted to analyse the website's traffic and engagement. Along with this we wanted a very easy content management system to be able to make minor everyday changes in the website.
How did you select this vendor?
We had circulated a post in our networks regarding getting our website development. As a result, we were connected with multiple branding agencies. Our regular practice was to assess their portfolio, business image and costing.
Our deciding factor for finalizing Grocode.io was the sheer fact that they gave value for money. Not only was their work exceptional, but also charged a reasonable amount of money.
Describe the project in detail.
After finalizing the agency, we had 2 meetings prior to starting the project for the understanding of the project and the important of incorporating Sehat Kahani's key values in the designs. The second meeting was more about the direction we should take the website in and the inspiration websites.
The project was initiated after these meetings and begun with the finalization of the designs and characters. The team believed we should stick to a mix of illustrations and images, with more of illustrations with pastel colours.
The project required multiple changes, for which team Grocode was kind enough to bring a project based Graphic Designer, bearing the cost themselves. The website was launched a long period of 4 months but the product was approved and liked by all parties involved.
What was the team composition?
There were 4 people on this project, who worked with us closely. Zair was the main person of contact who headed the project. Along with him, there were 3 other members, the UI specialist, Graphic Designer and Backend developer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Today, after 6 months of the launch of the website, we stand at a very decent engagement number with minimal bounce rates. Our website has been appreciated by national as well as international partners, which is a huge win for us considering the previous feedback.
We have been able to achieve more in terms of our digital presence and collaborations, as most of our social media is now heavily dependent on our website. Our recruitment process has become more streamlined as through our website, the applications are stored in a more organized manner.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was very effective. They were extremely cooperative and very receptive to feedback, ensuring we were satisfied in all instances. They were available on call whenever required and if need be, they would come in for meetings as well, even on urgent requests.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The Grocode team is super innovative with their designs, and ensured that the design and theme of our website stands out too, while staying true to our brand. They took complete ownership of Sehat Kahani's website and worked on it with utmost dedication, which is rarely found in businesses nowadays.
Furthermore, they provided us with free technical support for 3 months and are always available for us whenever we need any technical assistance with the website or otherwise, even though the project has ended.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They are brilliant at their work, and quite flexible too in making changes.
The new redesign earned praise from national and international partners alike, and site engagement has increased notably. Not only was Grocode's team innovative, but they also strove to best represent the brand by incorporating client feedback. They were customer-focused and provided strong support.
