I am the broker-owner of Engel & Volkers Jacksonville. We are a franchise location of a large international real estate company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Greyson Tax Consulting?

The goal was to get my books in order and streamline my taxes so that I didn’t have to worry about the process myself.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In real estate, there are a lot of transactions going back and forth, between deposits, collections, deductions, and everything else. Greyson Tax Consulting has provided the professional service necessary to handle all of that, including my personal and business taxes, my bookkeeping, and even the structuring of the business.

They helped to change my corporation to an S corp so that I could save money in the tax filings, and they run my entire QuickBooks account so that I can see my balance sheets, profits and loss, and net income at any given time.

What is the team composition?

I work with three people from their team, including Brian (Managing Partner) who serves as my main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Greyson Tax Consulting?

Brian and I are friends, so I knew that he would be able to provide me with a reliable service. He offered it to me at a time when I was growing enough to really need their services, so, between our friendship and the fact that they’re also millennials who understand the modern business world, it was an easy decision to make.

What is the status of this engagement?

I believe we started the project in January 2019, and we’ve been working together ever since.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They saved me about $30,000 in taxes this year alone, so their work more than pays for itself. That’s a huge bonus for any business owner, and it would definitely not have been possible without their team’s guidance throughout the year.

How did Greyson Tax Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

One of the biggest reasons I enjoy doing business with them is that I can call them at any time via phone or text and they’ll get back to me right away. They do a great job of keeping me updated at least once a week, which is important for the real estate profession, so I have been totally satisfied with the services they’ve provided to me.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their combination of knowledge and timely communication has been an absolutely critical asset. Being able to ask important questions and get an accurate question in a timely manner has allowed me to improve the way I run my business as a whole.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They offer all the services that I need and do a good job with all of them, so I’ve been totally satisfied.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust them. The more you let them do what they think is best for your business, the more money you’re going to save and the happier you’re going to be with their services.
