the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Could you begin by describing your company and your role?
We’re a marketing communications firm, and I’m one of the two owners.
When you approached Greygoo, what was the business challenge you were trying to address?
We’ve been working with them extensively for years. In the beginning, I would say we were in the realm of establishing an online presence, be it a website or some other messaging.
When did you start working with them?
Probably three years ago.
Can you discuss a little bit more about the scope of the work that they’ve done for you?
Quite a wide range: Websites, retargeting, helping us leverage LinkedIn, the brand’s presence in the LinkedIn environment, e-commerce, and digital menus for restaurant chains.
Is this work ongoing?
They’ve done various projects for us, supporting our clients. It’s a relationship that’s ongoing. Projects are completed, and then we move on to others.
What was your process for selecting Greygoo to work with? Were you looking at some other candidates?
Yes. Always. I think competency, strategic savvy, and collaborative team spirit were three key factors that set Greygoo apart from others.
Could you give a sense of the size of work that they’ve done for you either with a cost range or personnel work-hour figure?
It varies [depending on the project]. They provide excellent value and competitive estimates.
In terms of results of the work that they have done so far, do you have any feedback or metrics that you can share to indicate the effectiveness of their work?
The clients we work with continue to want to have a sustained relationship with our agency, and with Greygoo, who supports us digitally in those relationships. That’s a testament in and of itself that more than one client continues to appreciate and value what’s been provided. That is a great affirmation of how good they are.
How do you think their work has helped to improve your business?
It’s the digital age. Brands continue to focus more and more on Internet and mobile. Having a good digital partner is vital.
How would you describe their performance?
Excellent.
Was there anything unique or special about them compared to other vendors you may have used in the past?
They’re very strategic minded, and provide excellent value, good design orientation, and collaborative spirit.
Looking back, is there any area you think they could improve upon or is there anything you would do differently as a client of theirs?
Nothing specifically. My agency and Greygoo are always looking for ways to strengthen communication even further.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
The client, Coe-Truman Technologies, is a 25-year-old information technology firm that provides software products and professional services to a number of industries. The reviewer is a technical project manager for the company.
The client was looking to hire someone to develop the user interface design for a meeting and event planning application called Oasis Planner 8. The product features advanced search, itinerary building, and credit management for coursework and accreditation. It is often used in the medical field.
Greygoo was recommended to the client by an acquaintance. The client then chose to work with Greygoo above several other companies after observing the strong quality of work they had done in the past. They also liked that Greygoo was a smaller shop.
The work took about four months, during which one of the Greygoo team members was devoting full-time work to the project.
The product received excellent feedback from users of the software product. The client was told by customers that this version of the product was much easier to use than the one that had been previously released. The design was responsive for any type of screen.
The client is very pleased with the top-notch UI [user interface] design work of Greygoo and would highly recommend them to others.
The products and services of Greygoo received positive feedback from customers expressing to maintain an ongoing relationship with the team. They stood out for their competency, strategic mindedness, excellent value, and collaborative spirit.
