Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CEO of a data visualisation company that makes it easy to extract insights from large, visual data sets. We are based on Oxford, UK.

For what projects/services did your company hire Grafixoft?

We needed to build a Quality Assurance team and ensure our product was reliable, bug free and usable.

What were your goals for this project?

To reduce testing overhead of our internal development staff and to have greater confidence in deploying new features to our customers.

How did you select this vendor?

We were referred by a member of our board who had over 20 years of experience in using Grafixoft for software development and testing at a previous company.

Describe the project in detail.

They were originally tasked with manually testing our user interface and installation procedure. This turned out to be a very time consuming process and didn't scale well to allow for frequent releases. They have since worked to automate the overall testing process, creating interface, api, integration and unit tests which are run daily. They continue to improve our testing processes.

What was the team composition?

We have two full time testers that are fully integrated members of our development team. In addition we have regular, monthly catch ups with Grafixoft's business development manager to ensure the relationship is running smoothly.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The relationship has been an ongoing success and has dramatically improved our overall application reliability and our development practices.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They have fully integrated with our team, being part of daily standup, fortnightly sprint planning and retrospectives. The use the same communication tools we do and are as responsive as any other member of the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to support our business are all greatly appreciated.

We have an excellent relationship with Grafixoft, which now runs over several years. We have used their skilled resources in a number of areas and greatly value their support. Feedback from those who work with them is always positive and day to day they are easy to work with. The reason that this relationship is strong is due to their integrity and honesty, which are ethics we also pride ourselves on.
