I'm the owner of a high-performance Digital Marketing Agency based in London

For what projects/services did your company hire Grab Digital, and what were your goals?

We had a list of about 8,000 semi-engaged customers who received the intermittent email from our team. The emails didn't do particularly well, nor did they bring in results. We needed an agency that understood our needs and our customers, and could bridge the gap to bring in results. What were your goals for this project? We wanted to connect with our customers, increase loyalty, and of course, drive revenue.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I decided to move forward with Grab Digital because they seemed to prioritize quality and service far more than other agencies. I wanted a business partner who could serve as an extension of our brand. Not a stranger.

After onboarding us, they spent about a week combing through all the information we provided them, and then produced a base template. We had some back and forth to arrive at an email template that represented our brand. It went relatively smoothly, and then they began building popups, working on our marketing calendar together, and then finally implementing and sending the emails.

They spent a lot of energy producing a comprehensive audit to help uncover various opportunities. Things an untrained eye would not have found. We're happy about this, because even when our engagement is over, we have the blueprint from Grab Digital to keep us on track in the future.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

They are a tight team. I worked directly with Jasper and Shaheer, the owner and head email marketer (respectively). They are a remote team but based in the US.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our flows have doubled in revenue, and email marketing now makes up about 27% of our total revenue. The popup form they created also brought in a ton of customers (I think our popup collection rate increased by about 2.3x)

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Super easy, smooth, professional, and quick. No problems.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I love Grab Digital's mission. Planting trees for every email. 1% for the Planet Member. Focused on responsible, sustainable brands... Their team seems to understand and care deeply about sustainability.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only hiccup occurred when some dates on the marketing calendar were misaligned, but they swiftly resolved this issue and it hasn't happened since.

Grab Digital is currently helping us with our email marketing. We would like them to take on even more, such as some of our social and digital advertising.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for a small agency that would understand our small business needs. We have tried bigger agencies that seem to scam for a couple months, take no real interest in the business, and then put some irrelevant content out with no direction and poor ROI.

We meet with Grab Digital monthly to go over analytics and next months email ideas. We use Marvel to go through proofing stages and communicate individual email details.

Grab Digital has a copy writer and graphic designer assigned to this project. I gather feedback from the rest of our marketing team and am the liaison between Grab and Beessential.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our ROI, click-through rates, and general content are impressive. More than double industry standards.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We are working well together. We meet monthly and communicate almost daily on email re-works or content ideas. We use Marvel to group chat and approve email designs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We liked working with a couple of professionals rather than getting lost in the mix of a giant conglomerate.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At first, we were using a couple of apps to try to stay on task and complete projects. Having more than one app, and email and zoom calls were slightly confusing. We communicated this and fixed it right away, just using one app to task out projects.

We needed help with our email marketing. Our approach had been scattershot and sporadic, rather than thoughtful or intentional. We needed better flows, better design and better content. And we needed them to be sent to our list regularly. Past in house attempts at this had not worked out well.

I selected Grab Digital after they reached out to me at the right time. I'd interviewed four other agencies and found them all to be either too expensive or the design too lacking.

Good discussion on brand identity and evaluating past email marketing efforts. Understood our need to provide direction and then hand over the reins. The work has been excellent. Updated our email flows, provided tons of useful data on what was working and what wasn't, and have been responsive in figuring out customer by customer challenges that have arisen.

Jasper is a top notch colleague. Hiring Grab Digital was one of the best business decisions I made all year.

What was the team composition?

They're a small team - Jasper has been my point person for all aspects of the work. Responsive via email, text and calls.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our updated welcome series flow has gone from generating a few hundred in sales to over $60,000 in the past year. Email capture on site is up 12x after redesigning the offer and A/B testing it through.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Super easy. Weekly Zoom calls and texts and emails throughout the week to stay on track.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I've been impressed with Grab Digital's knowledge, integrity and work ethic. They deliver measurable results. These guys are amazing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We had a couple of hiccups around discount codes not properly working for all customers, but identified the issue and resolved it together.

We evaluated 8 similar companies focused on the email marketing vertical, but liked Grab Digital for their low cost and expertise.

We agreed on a high-level email marketing audit for the project's scope. Japser and his team spent 2 weeks in our platform, conducting deliverability tests, auditing email template content, and evaluating our current automated programs.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have not had the chance to implement the findings of the audit quite yet.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Jasper was phenomenal about coordinating the kick-off call, check-ins, and the findings and results meeting. Overall, the workflow was very structured yet open to communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

While a relatively young company, I was impressed by the level of expertise and professionalism that the team brought to the project.

No.
