Founded in 2010, Pamela Snyder launched GOsustainably with over 15 years experience in online marketingstrategy. Shortly thereafter she opened DigiVino (the branch of GOsustainably that works expressly with the wine industry).

In the early dot com days, Pamela led the producer team of one of the world’s top three Web agencies, Red Sky Interactive, and launched an online media design company in South America.

Since then she has led global, national and regional interactive media and marketing strategy teams for Sutter Home, Nike, Cisco, Walmart, San Francisco Department of the Environment, Toyota, NFL, Visa, Levi’s, International Fund for Animal Protection, World Watch International and Save the Children. Pamela is fluent in Spanish with proficiency in breaking down cultural, linguistic and online barriers. She has an MBA from one of the top sustainability business schools in the country (per Fast Company), a passion for travel and a habit of dancing the cha-cha outside on full moon nights.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the owner and president of Walton USA, a digital agency.


What challenge were you trying to address with GOsustainably?

I was looking for a reliable web development company to help with projects that are outside of my company’s skill set.


What was the scope of their involvement?

We have worked together on a few different projects for various clients of mine. GOsustainably is my go-to web development partner.

For each project, they try to get a feel for the business goals and the target audience. Depending on the project, GOsustainably will also help design the website. Much of our work utilizes WordPress, but they have also led projects working with Joomla, Magento, Drupal, and others.  

What is the team composition?

I work with Pamela (Principal Executive, GOsustainably), along with three other people.

How did you come to work with GOsustainably?

I found them years ago through a freelancing platform. I hired them to do a smaller project, and we have stayed in touch ever since.

How much have you invested in them?

We have invested between $20,000–$30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in 2012 and remains ongoing.


What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

GOsustainably has consistently developed websites that work well. For specific clients, they have also performed some intense SEO work and helped increase online visibility and keyword rankings.

How did GOsustainably perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate well through Basecamp, as well as emails and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a personal touch. Pamela and her team have always been hands-on and responsive to make sure that the project is a success and that my clients are happy.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I haven’t had many issues.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d advise future clients to make sure that the scope is well-documented.
