Stackt Market
STACKT MARKET came to us with a problem they were facing in October of how they were going to close Holiday Hills; out their newly founded 3 week long winter festival. We listened to their need to create a dynamic activation the public, how it should be winter themed, it needed to be accessible and the concept had to be strong enough that it would capture public attention to draw hundreds of guests to their location`just before the holdidays. The result: stackt Chalet 80s Apres-Ski Day Party.Â
Â
Good Kids designed and planned an immersive 80s ski chalet brand activation for stackt that encouraged 300 Torontoians to come in their loudest 80s ski suits and celebrate the season playing in custom built ski lift chair photobooths, toast some free s’mores and chill out with some complimentary snow cones, partake in shots out of a ski with a group of friends then get down on the dance floor with our breakdancers to an 80s Video Dance party!

Please describe your company and your position there.
Marketing Manager at Unilever
For what projects/services did your company hire GOOD KIDS?
We contracted Good Kids deliver a dynamic marketing campaign for our Unilever Sales team culminating with a big event for our Quebec team. I was incredibly impressed with the creative approach the team at Good Kids took when we submitted our brief to them.
They had a solution that addressed every pain point we had and very creative ideas that lead our key messaging. For the final event in Montreal, they secured the PERFECT venue, planned every detail, from the catering, staffing, and entertainment.
We had some reservations with an agency of their size, but honestly they got it done better than agencies twice their size we've done work int he past. We couldn't have been happier.
What were your goals for this project?
The Good Kids agency created all the marketing materials for, and did all the planning that went into our sales conference.
How did you select GOOD KIDS?
We looked at creative companies in the Toronto area before and Good Kids was recommend by a college. We had them pitch and hired them for a local project. They did a fantastic job on the local project that we offered them this provincial contract.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Concepts, budget management, drafting, venue sourcing, staffing, creative photography, merchandising, event production and execution
What was the team composition?
I worked directly with Cory as my connection. Their team is small but they do great work and do well with either project collaboration or direction.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Everyone who attended the event gave us feedback that they did a great job.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
lines of communication were kept to three or four contacts so it was never messy. They're good at communicating their points effectively and clearly.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
What they're able to do on a budget. Other creatives tend to overcharge and under deliver. They were able to bring in added value on or even under budget in some cases
Are there any areas for improvement?
I wish we could do more projects with them!
