I'm the co-founder of a startup developing software for CEOs of multi-business corporations.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with GOFOX design?
We needed a company to handle part of the design of our software.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
GOFOX design worked on the UX/UI design of our web-based software. I provided sketches of concepts, which GOFOX design then developed in detail and improved on. They used Figma to design about 60 different screens for our software program.
Essentially, the software takes a company's business plan and breaks it down into different components. There is a user simulator where users can enter different numbers to get different graphs with an analysis of their plan and stock pricing. The software is a very sophisticated-looking stock price analysis application.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Siarhei (Founder & Art Designer).
How did you come to work with GOFOX design?
I found GGOFOX design through Upwork. After interviewing several companies and analyzing portfolios, I decided to hire them — they were the best fit.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $5,000 with GOFOX design for about 150 hours of work.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with GOFOX design was from January–April 2022.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
GOFOX design's quality of work was excellent — their design was great, and they had great attention to detail. They were patient when we made multiple changes and communicated well through written communication. I couldn't ask for a better frontend designer. We're actually going to continue the design process with GOFOX design in the future; we're just currently paused indefinitely.
How did GOFOX design perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything was submitted as promised. GOFOX design responded immediately to my messages to confirm they received them and promised to look at them within the next 24 hours. They usually responded by the end of the next day with my request, which was usually an iteration of a design. They operated that way for our entire project. We typically communicated through Upwork and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Since I haven't worked with many other providers, it's hard to say what makes GOFOX design stand out. However, they really excelled at everything I mentioned before, and I can't imagine another vendor doing better than they did.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything for GOFOX design to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I'd tell customers that clear, regular, written communication works perfectly with GOFOX design. When working with any designer, the more detail and context provided, the easier the designer's job will be.
