Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a certified third-party administrator who provides drug and alcohol testing and compliance to the trucking administration as well as aviation trains. We provide all services related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) under the Department of Transportation (DOT).
What challenge were you trying to address with GoEdison?
We hired GoEdison to help us with our marketing profiles on LinkedIn and Facebook.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Their main goal is to capitalize on some of our additional services from a consulting, travel qualification file, and verification of employment side standpoint. The team’s work involves getting our information out on social media platforms, and they do that by crafting marketing materials. Moreover, they also assist with our accounts, advertising budgets, SEO, PPC, and more.
So far, we’ve finished some of the startup phases we needed to accomplish. They’ve also helped with some women empowerment campaigns we needed to put together.
What is the team composition?
I only work with Joel (CEO) and Tiffany (Account Manager).
How did you come to work with GoEdison?
I heard about them from one of my business partner partners, and that person worked with GoEdison. We also liked the fact that Joel came from the trucking industry and because of his knowledge about our industry, it was easier to communicate our company’s needs than somebody who was just plainly dealing with the marketing world.
Then, Tiffany came from an agriculture industry, she was also able to pick up the lingo needed for the industries that we were dealing with. Overall, those were the reason why we chose GoEdison.
How much have you invested with them?
We roughly spend $1,200 per month.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing work began in October 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Everything’s been going very well. Third-party stakeholders have liked some of the messages that we’ve put out.
Their strength likes in their genuine care for our company and their effort to put the message that we want to share. We’ll probably continue to use them as long as we continue to grow — in that sense, we’ll probably engage with GoEdison forever.
How did GoEdison perform from a project management standpoint?
The team is phenomenal from a project management standpoint. Sometimes, I have great ideas and I often contact GoEdison to share them — and they’ve always accommodated me even during weekends. Above all, they’re hardworking and they almost work every hour of the day. With their exceptional support to us, I feel like they don’t sleep.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Tiffany constantly thinks of ways to innovate and dispel stigmas around the trucking industry and to get our company's message out. On a team level, I like GoEdison’s mindset on interconnectivity, more specifically on bringing our family ties together.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, honestly every single expectation I have has been met by the team. GoEdison has gone above and beyond consistently.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Tell them exactly what you want. Even if your expectations seem unrealistic, just share them with GoEdison because they're willing to listen to your ideas. That way, they can tailor the right package for you. They’re creative and energetic.
If you are standoffish, they’ll still do a good job of helping you. I don’t think there’s anything that they’re not familiar with because they take research seriously. Above all, give them some room to breathe so that they can make your message stronger.

Point of Reference is a Salesforce partner that offers a purpose-built customer reference management application.
For what projects/services did your company hire GoEdison, and what were your goals?
We needed a flexible, multi-faceted marketing agency to help us, initially, with our email marketing to both prospects and clients. After a year of getting to know them and seeing results we expanded our relationship to include Google adwords and LInkedIn marketing.
How did you select GoEdison and what were the deciding factors?
Of the potential providers, our GoEdison POC proved to be the best listener and most responsive. All our contacts are service oriented and continuously bring new ideas to us, and challenge some of the things we were doing that didn't make sense. We appreciate honesty and the self-confidence they bring to the relationship.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
GoEdison helped us put a systematic email marketing plan in place, which we really needed to maintain contact with prospects and be top-of-mind when need and budget availability converged. They're good listeners.
Our approach is less CTA-centric and more educational, relationship cultivation motivated. Once they understood the nuances they made good recommendations and brought plenty of best practices to us.
They've become really efficient over time and somehow manage to be both cost-efficient and high touch at the same time. Both important to small business like ours.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We've worked with 4 people since the beginning. Two that we work with regularly (1 email specialist, 1 PPC/SEO specialist).
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We're doing quite well on open and CT rates, as well as time of engagement with some of the videos we promote.

Most communication happens through email, but our marketing point person does have calls with GoEdison resources when needed. They're very clear on deadlines and setting proper expectations for the completion of various initiatives.

The people are all very personable and qualified.

Nothing of any consequence.
