What was the scope of their involvement?

Go Website Inc runs marketing and advertising packages for our customers, including SEO. We wanted SEO in our packages because it's a sustainable and long-term process. Their team collaborated with us to develop keywords for our long-term keyword efforts. We've decided to do long-term keyword campaigns because they're the key to getting traffic and improving ranking.

We've invested $15,000–$25,000 with Go Website Inc. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2016, and our partnership is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have good and bad months for the campaigns — most of our bad months are around November and December, and around the Chinese New Year when business is slow in China. We monitor all of the metrics in Google Analytics, which we can check from SEMRush. We also utilize SEO Quick to monitor traffic. 

How did Go Website Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

Go Website Inc has good project management — we have weekly scrum meetings to analyze our projects and daily 15-minute stand up calls. Generally, sprints last 2–3 weeks, but it can take 3–4 weeks to develop keywords because sometimes our customers are slower. Typically we use Microsoft Excel and communicate via email and WhatsApp. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Go Website Inc is always coming up with new, innovative, and creative ideas to make us stand out from the rest of the pack. We have an 80%–85% positive yield ratio. Our plan isn't to make fast money — we're just advisors and consultants, so if we help customers, they'll stay with us longer. We just want our customers to be happy so they'll provide positive feedback and refer our business to others.

What challenge were you trying to address with Go Website Inc?

We wanted to have our own company website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed our website using WordPress. We discussed it with one of their advisors, and he came up with an initial design concept since our objectives weren’t clear. They made our website mobile responsive and guided us throughout the process.

We’re still in the development phase, and they are currently developing content around the objectives of our brand and our initial goals. We actually had an initial discussion about how the business was founded, and they’ve come up with a good brand story.

I’m in contact with an advisor, who relays everything to their design and development team.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $250 so far.

We started working together in January 2022, and our engagement is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everything’s going well so far.

How did Go Website Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

At first, it was pretty difficult to communicate with them since they were using lots of technical terms, but they adjusted for us and explained everything in simpler terms — we finally know what mobile responsive means. We communicate with them mainly via phone calls.

Also, their team has been very cooperative and timely in terms of meeting deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve made us feel comfortable by adjusting to our level.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Most of their customers are probably tech-savvy, so they should have some initial designs or PDFs for training manuals to help non-techy customers understand technical terms.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Work with them — they’re really good at what they do.
