I signed a binding contract with Go Logo Now in October 2023 for a custom mobile app. What followed was a nightmare so egregious that I’ve had to retain an attorney and am actively pursuing legal action. Consider this a public warning to anyone thinking of hiring this company.

Despite paying $11,000, Go Logo Now never delivered a functional beta. The contract clearly required a completed app submitted to the App Store and Google Play by February 2024, yet that deadline came and went without even a working prototype. Eighteen months later, every so-called “build” was unstable, incomplete and riddled with bugs. I was never given a single line of source code and was expected to serve as their quality-assurance (QA) department, personally finding and reporting errors instead of receiving a properly tested product.

The financial dealings were just as shady. They demanded payments outside the agreed milestone schedule and couldn’t even keep their own numbers straight—emails listed two different totals ($10,912 vs. $11,000). They later tried to up-charge me by claiming the Admin Panel, which was plainly spelled out in the contract, was an “extra” feature. I formally requested a refund on February 28, February 29, and June 18, 2024; each time I got nothing but stalling tactics and empty promises.

All this unfolded while I endured a high-risk pregnancy and a difficult birth, and my business partner faced serious health crises and multiple hospitalizations. The delays destroyed his ability to take on other paid work and forced him off the project entirely. I was promised they’d use my recovery period and the transition to a new partner to finally finish the app. Instead, by June 2025, less than two months after giving birth, it was obvious they never intended to deliver. Citing the contract clause allowing cancellation and refund for grave non-compliance, I demanded a full refund. I was flatly denied and received this jaw-dropping text:

“You should focus on your baby now. This kind of stress isn’t good for a new mom. I understand you’re upset, but business is business. What’s done is done. You can’t afford to fight it anyway, so just let it go.”

My new business partner was also sent a threatening text accusing him of “brainwashing me” into seeking a refund.

As if that weren’t outrageous enough, the project’s original head, John, later contacted me privately, trying to extort an additional $6,300 for what he claimed was the finished source code despite my having already paid the full $11,000. Throughout the ordeal I dealt with at least six different so-called representatives—Ryan Fernandes, John Morrison, Travis Walker, Kurt Goodwin, Robert Anderson and Muhammad—all emailing from the same company domain while their tone, authority and stories shifted constantly, making accountability impossible.

Bottom line: Go Logo Now breached their own contract, missed every critical deadline, demanded extra payments, tried to extort me and used intimidation instead of integrity. I never received a functional deliverable despite paying $11,000 and am now in active legal proceedings to recover my money. Avoid this company at all costs.

Our primary goal here was to create a visually appealing and user-friendly landing page. This page needed to effectively communicate our brand's message, engage visitors, and encourage them to explore our services further. The development aspect required implementing responsive design principles and ensuring fast loading times for optimal performance. They delivered!

• Launch of the Landing Page: The most tangible outcome is the successful launch of the live, fully functional landing page. While the MVP is still under development, there are several markers of success and progress in this phase: 
• Adherence to Timeline: They continue to meet predetermined milestones in the MVP development process, such as the completion of specific features or phases, which is a key indicator of progress. 
• Quality of Development Work: They integrated a new programming language as per our requirements, which demonstrates Go Logo Now's ability to adapt and cater to specific client needs. 
• Feedback Integration: They continue to incorporate feedback from my team into the MVP development which is a crucial measure of iterative progress and responsiveness to our/user needs.

Go Logo Now's project management was highly effective. It was characterized by their ability to deliver items on time and their responsive approach to our needs. Effective communication was a cornerstone of their project management style. I worked with Daniel, one of their project manager, and he maintained regular updates and was always accessible, fostering a collaborative environment. 
This open line of communication with Daniel ensured that any issues were quickly identified and resolved and that our feedback was promptly incorporated into the project.

This would allow them to immediately address a wider array of technical requirements, potentially speeding up the initial stages of a project and providing a more seamless experience. However, it's important to note that their current approach of adapting to client needs by bringing in specialized expertise is highly effective and client-centric, demonstrating their commitment to delivering tailored solutions.

I hired Go logo now to create a fully function mobile app made available on Apple & Google App stores, a logo & website landing page for the app.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The sales person Mike seemed supportive, constructive & patient so I THOUGHT this was representative of his team. In addition I thought the price was very good compared to other developers — unfortunately, none of this was actually true.

Goal was to have Go Logo Now develop a fully functioning app on iOS, android, uploaded to the App stores, website landing pages for the App, and logo. They mentioned using flutter to create but, later on they kept telling me it was all custom coded.

There was no transparency. All I received was the logo I asked them to trace & they didn’t package it like an real designer would and left out font files that I had to ask for.

The salesperson was out of the loop as soon as I paid & signed the contract. I tried to keep him updated on problems I was experiencing but, he was no help. The account manager was young, uninterested in understanding the purpose of my App & very difficult to communicate with.

Multiple requests for timelines and an updated timeline was shrugged off. Multiple features of my app left out because he didn’t read the initial briefing I sent out. Even after I reminded him of missing features nothing was done to address my concerns.

The project manager was supposed to be the technical adviser but, he along with the account manager would disappear for weeks without update or any contact.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The outcome: I am losing $8+ to this fake company, actually registered as Truelinks Communication. They also have a crooked lawyer who is lying about items delivered to me.

As soon as I made a large payment they went quiet. Their processes are messy, unorganized and inefficient. Their design ability is poor, inconsistent, littered with typos throughout any visuals & poor written English.

Even after the logo was done they continued to used the wrong unapproved logo on app screen mock-ups. They never even noticed. They would not provide a timeline regardless of the many times i asked. I have had to write up a timeline for them to drop dates in which they never honored.

Project management is not a skill they possess so they have used the following excuses on me: we had to take medical leave, our designers are transitioning remotely so there are delays, you are the reason there are delays.

As soon as they thought they caught me being wrong they used that to manipulate an approval on an incomplete app with missing features & no design on the app. A third party verified the app mock-ups thoroughly lacked design.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Most unique: deceitful & crooked.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

1. Not disappear for long periods of time; especially after a large sum of money was paid.
2. Accountability: when an error is made then remedy it. Don’t deflect blame to the client to cover up your mistakes or under the guise of being empathetic.
3. Project management: set up milestones, communicate it, setup recurring meetings (I don’t know why the account manager and project manager were so adverse to it). send summary emails of meetings for next steps.
4. Honest not manipulative: don’t have your lawyer lie to PayPal about how you delivered a logo, website landing page, wire frames and the “alpha phase” with design sent to me and all would surely be complete in less than 1 months remaining time when only: a logo was delivered and no room for proper QA, beta testing and proper upload to mobile App Stores not even started yet. Go Logo Now is crooked and they won’t hesitate to do this to others.

When I joined the project, the website was partially complete. The first stage of work I took on was creating and updating copy, ensuring link functionality and overall ui review. This took several iterations to reach go-live status. Email set up only to about an hour. We ran into password authentication issues, but the team was able to get this resolved.

I worked directly with Allen Brown, Senior Business Consultant. Aside from that, I was not privy on how many resources were specifically used for each project.

The website looks beautiful and our emails are functioning properly.

Allen was a wonderful person to work with. He is very patient and very responsive. We were able to get things completely overwhelmingly through email; occasionally by phone.

Go Logo Now had been a one-stop-shop for a business' web presence needs, while being very attentive to the needs of our projects. Allen, in particular was very easy to engage with.

We are quite satisfied, so don't have suggestions for meaningful improvement!

Go Logo Now’s communication was on point and very strong. I reached out to them day and night, and they always replied, even if they weren’t at work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Go Logo Now did very well and really listened to what I needed. The only struggle we had was that I didn’t provide any ideas for the emblem font, and they made the original image with a random font, which I didn’t like. However, once I explained what I wanted, they fixed it and even came back to me with a couple of examples. The communication was the best aspect of working with them, and the work was outstanding. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really — everything was really good. We plan to work with Go Logo Now on a bigger project designing our community and member’s logos, which will need a wider variety of graphic design skills. 

Any advice for potential customers?

I recommend that future clients trust Go Logo Now. At first, I was really skeptical, but once I started to trust them, it became easier to communicate. They’re graphic designers, and this is what they do. The more details they’re given, the more material they have to work with.
