Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director and curator for Nelson Pioneer Farm Museum, a small, local historical society.
What challenge were you trying to address with A Girl Creative Design Studio?
We had a website but it looked archaic. We needed to update it and make sure that it was mobile-friendly and met all of the needs of a more tech-savvy user.
We also needed to improve our branding and logo. One of our requirements was to have a website that was intuitive enough to allow me to easily update it or add events.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Tiffany (Owner) did the graphic design for the logo itself and did a fully-customized website. She coded in WordPress. In addition to making the website mobile-friendly, she created an entire page that features each building and its history.
We also manage a rental venue, so A Girl Creative Design Studio created an appointment calendar that allows clients to schedule time with me to walk through the building.
We also have research requests through our genealogy library, so we did another calendar for researchers to schedule time to use our space. Tiffany also created an e-commerce platform where visitors could pay for their genealogy visit in advance, which wasn’t possible before.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Tiffany.
How did you come to work with A Girl Creative Design Studio?
We wanted to keep it local if we could. I started the conversation with the board committee in October 2019 and started meeting with graphic designers. Most of them worked with templates and didn’t customize their work very much.
It felt like they were going to cram what I wanted into something that already existed. I did a LinkedIn search, and I got an overwhelming response. Tiffany stood out because she’s originally from Iowa, which meant she would know the audience we were going to be dealing with.
I liked her portfolio because it was different than what many of our local designers did, and her tone when she responded and communication were professional yet approachable.
She was upfront about what the process would look like, the price, and what she’d deliver. I appreciated Tiffany’s transparency, and the committee felt the same.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $2,500 on the rebrand and $2,500 on the website. We also chose to do a maintenance package for $200 per year, and A Girl Creative Design Studio is hosting our website for $900 per year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started talking to Tiffany in late January 2020, and we got board approval in March 2020. We then began working with A Girl Creative Design Studio in mid-April 2020. The website launched at the end of July 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re already seeing donations being made and memberships being renewed online. Additionally, our rental clients are using the calendar. The website has brought us into the 21st century and is keeping us up to date with what other museums are doing.
Every time I asked questions, Tiffany was very open. Her aesthetic captured the feel of our brand in a way that none of us imagined. We didn’t know that’s what we needed until we saw it. She completed the work with flying colors.
How did A Girl Creative Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
Tiffany was fantastic. She communicated well and was very transparent. If something shifted for the timeline, she always let me know.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I really appreciated her transparency at the beginning of the process. Tiffany didn’t try to do a hard sell; she just showed me her portfolio and said she was happy to answer any questions I had. She explained the technologies so that we could make an informed decision about who we wanted to partner with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not that I can think of. A Girl Creative Design Studio handled the project really well, especially since we were doing it during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Know what you’re looking for whenever you work on a project, but don’t be afraid to be honest with her if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for.

Tiffany Anderson was the primary website design/developer
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Communication was easy and responses were immediate, letting our team know when the work would be completed. Schedule impacts were discussed openly and there was never an issue knowing where we were in the project schedule.

We are a non-profit, the mission is to empower women in media, entertainment, and technology
For what projects/services did your company hire A Girl Creative Design Studio, and what were your goals?
Our website needed re-branding, added registration management, event management, live stream capabilities, and additional functionality added for one place for our members to go for our content, event registration and a place to learn more about our organization and programming.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
This business is a woman-owned, local business in our chapter. She had a great interview and provided us solid examples of her work that matched what our esthetic was going to be.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We needed to quickly update our site for a rebrand for our parent non-profit. We also needed to move an event page under our main site. Move all our webinar videos to our own platform, create a live-stream option on our own site, develop a functional registration platform for our larger events for less manual work. We needed to also create event management options.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Tiffany was our primary developer and contact.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
There were issues with access to our DNS account and she methodically helped us troubleshoot, navigate the access to our account, and then revamped our site to allow us to view our webinars, and our live stream and add registration management to our site. She was completely collaborative, approachable, helpful, and responsive. She worked through our issues and created a space that matched our HQ brand, increased traffic to our site, and helped us create a space for event management.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
This project was managed at our pace. Due to some account issues, Tiffany worked patiently to help us navigate those issues and continued to check in monthly.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Tiffany is a great collaborator and takes into account our mission as she built out our site. They were patient and thoughtful. They asked lots of clarifying questions to ensure she was building what we needed and up to our expectations.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing comes to mind about how I would do things differently.

Please describe your company and your position there.
CTS is a mental health practice specializing in trauma, relationships, personality disorders, and many other clinical struggles. As the owner, I am very invested in ensuring that our branding reflects the messaging, culture and purpose of our practice.
For what projects/services did your company hire A Girl Creative Design Studio, and what were your goals?
When our practice was launched over 5 years ago, I designed the website from a template based company. It served the purpose of being on the web, but did not drive traffic or align with the goals of having an online based practice. E-commerce is also important for the health supplement aspect of our company and this development seemed overwhelming.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
After speaking with multiple companies, we chose to work with Tiffany based on her ability to understand our goals, her estimated timeline for completion and overall cost.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
After our initial meeting via Zoom, we stayed connected through email, text, and phone calls. A workflow chart was provided by so I knew exactly where we were in the process at any given time. Concepts were provided and slight adjustments made throughout the project tenure. At NO time did I feel that there was any pushback on our goals or desires for the site. At the end of the project, the website exceeded my expectations.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
As the owner, I was the primary contact person. The co-owner was also involved and input was utilized.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I am now confident in my ability to push marketing through the website and it has become a valuable tool that saves time for both clients and clinicians.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Project management workflow technology was beneficial. Communication was exceptional with no more than 24 hours passing for responses. Timeliness was exactly as expected.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Working closely with Tiffany allowed for ease of communication. She also brought new life to the ideas we presented.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No recommendations.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the president of Radford Doors & Gates, a luxury home improvement product and installation company.
For what projects/services did your company hire A Girl Creative Design Studio, and what were your goals?
We hired A Girl Creative to complete a rebrand with new logo and website to better illustrate our luxury focus and direction.
How did you select A Girl Creative Design Studio and what were the deciding factors?
We found A Girl Creative admiring other websites and awards given to the designer.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Complete rebrand and all new site and architecture completed on Word Press.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We only interacted direct with Tiffany, the owner and head designer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our staff, clients and vendors have all commented on the gorgeous site. We are ecstatic with the design and architecture.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Great communicators, patient with our lack of knowledge, and wonderful in setting timeline expectations up front.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The area that most sticks out in my mind where she went above and beyond in was our adding an additional page or two which is normally scope creep on our part that justifies an uncharge, but she never skipped a beat and simply got it done without using every change as an uncharge opportunity. She is fair and great to work with in every regard.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, we will use her again. All areas were ideal and excellent.

Web Design for Music Teaching Business
“Tiffany has a great eye for design, and the little touches go a long way.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a small music-teaching business called Music Lesson Cafe. Normally, we’re a mobile business for private lessons but currently, we’re virtual.
What challenge were you trying to address with A Girl Creative Design Studio?
I have issues regarding my invoice processing and how much time I spend on administrative tasks for my business versus working on marketing and getting more business. I brought on AGC to revamp my website. The goal of the site is to streamline administrative invoicing and scheduling issues. We’re starting small and expanding from there.
What was the scope of their involvement?
AGC is handling a complete redesign of my website. Previously, I had a Wix site and tend to be technologically challenged. Their team suggested WordPress because it was something I could use, access, and handle updates on my own. We launched the site in July 2020.
What is the team composition?
I work with Tiffany (Owner & Designer) and her assistant who handles small tasks and changes.
How did you come to work with A Girl Creative Design Studio?
I know Tiffany through the music space. She’s taken music and vocal lessons from me.
How much have you invested with them?
It’s been roughly about $2,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started in June 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website has tremendously helped the administrative tasks I have to do and streamlined my business. Tiffany has a great eye for design, and the little touches go a long way. The website looks professional, and I can’t speak highly enough about the overall presentation. I’ve received positive feedback and praise from my clients. There’s a personalization that wasn’t present before.
What’s more, the new website has the potential for so much functionality. All my clients and music teachers can navigate the site on their own.
How did A Girl Creative Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great with project management. I’d always hear back quicker than expected. They were ready to go on my launch date, but I pushed it back a week because I wasn’t ready for it to be available at that point. AGC was very timely.
What did you find most impressive about them?
AGC takes a very personal approach to building a site. They implemented my own creative tastes and desires to create something that represented my business. Even with the site being hosted on WordPress, they made it feel like it’s my own thing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s one thing that fell between the cracks. I had wanted a function on the site that'd allow for COVID-19 waivers to be signed electronically. Currently, I’m still sending it to individual families. It was the only thing I requested, out of many, that didn’t happen. I’m sure if I talk to Tiffany, she’ll remedy it. That’s the only thing, it just got lost in the midst of everything and is probably a miscommunication issue on my part.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Come to AGC with examples of what you’re looking to have.
