We wanted a tool that would gather all the information about our customers from different channels and predict the net profit of our entire future relationship with each customer.

How did you select this vendor?

We spoke with the GFAIVE team over the phone and explained our problem. Afterward, they quickly developed a proof of concept, which showed us they understood our needs and had the necessary skills and experience to start the project. We also appreciated how they minimized our risk by not requiring payment until they delivered concrete results.

First, they developed a data processing pipeline and a prediction model based on data we’d gathered. By leveraging AI technology, they created a tool to provide insights into current and future customer behavior based on predictive analytics. From there, we quickly identified customers that needed our immediate attention and marketing tools that would reach them efficiently.

We interacted with an account manager, who worked with a team of data scientists and software engineers behind the scenes.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We’ve acquired valuable information regarding that empowered us to approach our customers with the right product, at the right time, through the right channel. This has improved our relationships, increased our sales volume, and minimized the resources dedicated to analyzing customer information.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We followed an agile development process, and GFAIVE delivered on their obligations quickly. They kept us updated via weekly phone calls, summary emails, and group Slack messages. We found this process effective, as we always knew what they were working on.

Their professionalism, responsiveness, and frequent updates were outstanding. We didn’t have to worry about them. Additionally, they took time-upfront to understand our business and concerns. Finally, they provided a great price-to-quality ratio.

Sometimes they used technical terms we weren’t familiar with when explaining their process. They should keep in mind that not all customers are familiar with technical AI terms.

We were consulting for a client who needed assistance with blockchain development.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to meet our client’s requirements, prioritizing UX design and security.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We went through a discovery session with a few different development teams across the globe, but GFAIVE (formerly known as SmiChriSoft) was the only vendor to meet all of our criteria. We could tell that they were professionals capable of producing high-quality work on time and for a competitive price. We liked that they followed an agile development approach, which we use internally as well. Additionally, they accepted Bitcoin as payment, eliminating the hassle of sending money through international bank wire.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

GFAIVE wrote an ERC-20 Ethereum smart contract for the solution. They also built a user login feature and integrated it with a third-party know your customer (KYC) provider, setting up an administrative panel to display key statistics. Based on that information, admin can manually accept or decline users as necessary. The GFAIVE team also implemented a token vending mechanism to accept payments and send custom tokens upon the confirmation of the payment receipt. On top of that, the team was responsible for designing the UX for both the user and admin interfaces.

What was the team composition?

We only interacted with the account manager, but there was a dedicated development team in the background.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Their work helped us close our contract with our client. The smart contract passed an audit with flying colors. Another outside source reviewed the code behind the user login and token vending mechanism, and they were impressed.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We used a joint Slack channel for day-to-day communication and scheduled weekly calls to discuss sprint updates. At the end of the project, we transitioned to quick 15-minute chats three times a week because needed to rapidly share feedback from our client to keep us moving forward. Overall, the GFAIVE team was both responsive and flexible. They expertly handled all of the changes we requested during the development process. They were willing to do whatever they could to benefit the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We’re very impressed with the quality of their work. We’ve had their code reviewed by several outside parties, and all have reacted positively.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

They could improve their communication skills, but the few misunderstandings didn’t hamper our progress.
