I’m the director of new media at Winged Whale Media.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Gen Z Integrated Marketing?

We received a contract from one of our customers to provide digital marketing services for their organization and their clients. They had 300 members, and we had to provide digital media consulting to those members. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

To start this partnership, we did discovery sessions. Working with Gen Z, we called our client’s members and informed them of our programs. We did this to help them acquire grant money and utilize other vendors. After that, we went through a couple of reporting stages. Eventually, our contract with the client was extended, which required further education and consulting with Gen Z. 

At present, Gen Z’s main work for us is to educate companies about digital media, including SEO and ad campaigns. As a result, their key deliverables range from digital strategies to weekly webinars. They educate companies about products like HootSuite, Canva, and Instagram. Their team creates strategic guides and social media templates for clients to use on their social media channels. 

To sum this up, Gen Z white labels their digital media consulting services to us. They’ve also done plenty of webinars and educational sessions for our customers’ third-party clients. 

What is the team composition?

We work with 3–4 team members, and they’re responsible for strategic guides, grant application work, and social media templates.

How did you come to work with Gen Z Integrated Marketing?

Anthony (Founder & CMO) started out as an intern and stayed with us to work on a part-time and per-project basis. Then, he joined a different agency. After his work there, he started his own company. Since then, we’ve partnered with them to work on digital consulting projects. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $40,000 CAD (approximately $32,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our most recent project started in November 2020, and it’s ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Anthony is a serious go-getter. He’s dedicated, passionate, driven, and ambitious. On top of all that, he thoroughly plans strategies, taking his time to ensure that all his ducks are in a row. As a result, he can execute with great efficiency. 

With his help, Gen Z has done incredible things for us. They’ve elevated the end customers’ social media channels and increased their engagement by several hundred percent. Overall, they’ve proven their worth in terms of achieving tangible results. 

How did Gen Z Integrated Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Anthony is detailed when it comes to project management. He uses a lot of tools to monitor and collaborate with us, including HubSpot, Slack, WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Documents, and Google Spreadsheets. As a result, our teams collaborate on the same document, and we all know what’s going on. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Gen Z is driven and ambitious; they’re hardworking go-getters. They’re highly proactive and show their desire to succeed. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, their efficiency comes off as if they’re less personable than others. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Let Anthony do his job and give him the parameters he needs. In other words, you must give him all the tools he needs so he can perform in the best possible way.
