Feedback on the website and visual presentation was very good - both from colleagues and clients. Professionals who deal with creation on a daily basis positively evaluated our changes.

Both parties were involved in management and time estimations. Release of website, apps, mailings, etc was published exact day we scheduled without any delays.

The scope of work included designing the appearance of the website based on the presented guidelines and making it consistent with the company's image, and then implementation and finally assistance in production deployment. We were looking for a company that, on the basis of our existing visual identity, would refresh it and create a modern website in the same climate.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The work was based on the backlog, which had detailed elements that required work along with the estimated time needed for it. All the time we had access to figma, where we could observe and comment live what we like and what we would like to change.

All communication went very smoothly. There were slight delays to the original deadline, but the company more than made up for it with their advice and commitment to the project.

Pretius is a Polish software development company. We create custom, enterprise-grade systems for big clients in the telecommunications, media, finance, and transportation industries. I'm the Marketing Manager at Pretius.

For what projects/services did your company hire Mits, and what were your goals?

Our old website was pretty outdated so we wanted to create something new – with fresh design, good UX, good SEO, and advanced customization features. As our in-house team was focused on creating and maintaining systems for our clients, we decided to design and develop the new website with help from an outside vendor.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I personally looked for vendors who could design and develop the new website according to our needs. I wanted someone who would work with me on the project of this website as a partner, who would not have a problem with getting feedback from our in-house designers and developers, and who would develop the website using WordPress (as I wanted it to be easily editable).

After shortlisting 6 vendors – based on their websites, portfolios and Clutch reviews – I contacted them personally and, after a few calls, decided that the offer by Mits sounds the best.

We started with preparing wireframes for all the sites (including blog), then we proceeded with visual designs in Figma (a few versions were provided by Mits for us to choose from), WordPress development (using the Advanced Custom Fields plugin), and finished with thorough testing.

Mits provided us with 1 designer and 2 developers. I was the product owner of this project. Testing was done both by Mits and on our side. Copies for all the sites were provided by us.

At almost all stages of the project, both the designs and the code were commented on by people from our in-house team, and the whole website was set up using our environment – as an experienced IT company, we wanted to have control over the quality of the website, and while I know such close collaboration could probably be problematic for many vendors, Mits were completely OK with that.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the new site, our Health Score (in Ahrefs) immediately rose from 77 to 90. Everyone is praising the new UX/UI, and it seems that users really like it, as the bounce rate significantly decreased. We were impressed that adding new blog posts, websites, and translations to the new website became very easy.

The project was managed by me, however, the CEO of Mits assisted me sometimes on their side. Also, designers and developers from Mits were pretty self-reliant so there was not that much management to do. We used Trello for overseeing the progress, Figma for creating the designs, Slack for day-to-day communication, and emails for settling payments.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I'm sure that working with such a demanding client – a company that is also experienced in software development – could be a pretty big challenge. But Mits responded to this challenge and provided us with very good design and development services.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The testing part, at the end of the whole process, took longer than we initially expected, but, all in all, every bug was taken care of, and we didn't have to pay extra for the additional hours. Extraordinary customer service.

We started our project 2 years ago. Before our collaboration with Mits, we were using the services of many other companies to develop the optimal UX for the football community.

We needed a design that would accomodate a long list of features that solved various problems of our customers. We already had the solution, but the UI didn't communicate it well at that stage.

Other companies in the portfolio seemed to be happym with the outcome of their collaboration with Mits. We have also been recommended Mits by 2 different businesses in a similar field to ours.

We asked Mits not only to redesign, but to generally reinvent our user experience for the mobile app. It was the third iteration and we wanted it to be as polished as possible, with the UI being both comprehensive and easy to use.

We had in-depth documentation and an experienced project coordinator on our side. Mits have provided us with a team leader for the project and a UX designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our software development team has found the project well documented and easy to implement. The users were happy with the interactive demo and had no trouble navigating the newly designed interface.

Although our team sets the bar pretty high, we were satisified by the look and feel of the product.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The Mits team have taken the lead on the project, which was a welcome surprise. Using Figma, we were able to work on the project together in real time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Mits members were able to do a lot of work without any guidance from our team. They got the feel of what was needed right away.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Only minor details that are quite time-consuming and not vital for the project, such as layer names within the UI projects, could be improved.

Initially, Mits worked on a redesign of our portfolio on our website, which was built on React. They also produced mockups for us. Additionally, they’ve collaborated with us on several projects for some of our clients, including logo and product designs, landing pages, and wireframe designs. At first, they worked in Adobe and they now use Figma.

We work with Tomasz (CEO & Co-Founder), Cezary (Product Designer), and Adam (CTO & Co-Founder).

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The feedback from our clients has been extremely positive; they love the modern designs provided by the Mits team, which is the most important success metric to us. We also saw an increase in impressions on our website after the portfolio redesign. We’re extremely happy with them.

How did Mits perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Trello to manage the work. They’re quick to complete the tasks we give them, and they always meet deadlines. We communicate via phone and Google Hangouts.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their quality, pricing, and ability to finish work within deadlines are what sets them apart from other designers I’ve worked with. Their designs are easy to implement, and they try to find the balance between great designs and implementation time.

There is no improvement needed from their team right now.

I’m co-founder of an automotive marketplace platform. We aggregate multiple vehicle products suppliers in one place and offer their products to customers. Our product started as B2B platform but now there is also B2C.

As a team of automotive experts, in 2017, we noticed that there is huge potential in online transport market. There was no applications that fit users needs therefore we decided to create platform that connects vehicle parts suppliers companies with buyer companies.

We didn’t have in-house developers and designers, so we decided to hire Mits software house. Our expectations was to create dedicated application that allows to manage companies and their products. We wanted also to create b2b communication platform.

Moreover we needed to create our custom subscription algorithm that let us to manage custom prices for each product separately. Finally, we wanted to have flexible application that is able to synchronize products and categories from thousands companies.

How did you select Mits and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for software companies online and shortlisted some of them. During interviews, Mits experience and modules planning skills impressed us mostly. These factors, in combination with a competitive price and clear guarantee policy, gave us confidence that we can hire them.

We had a kick-off meeting that we presented our product vision and key features that we need in MVP product. Mits team shared some doubts with us so we decided to change some features. After that, design team provided mockups and designs later. Simultaneously, development team started their work on system architecture.

After few iterations some key functionalities was ready:

a possibility to create company in system (or synchronize its data from government API), Vehicle fleet company management Companies employees management Products and categories import Online chat between companies Auctions and inquiries module Few months later we decided to expand our services, so we implemented additional thresholds for prices, we added traders module etc.

Our platform grows from month to month, so we still require main functionalities.

In platform development process is constantly involved PM, 2 developers and designer. During our cooperation, when we increased requirements, Mits assigned more devs and designers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After first year from launching platform, we noticed 50% income increased (01.2020 vs. 01.2021). In our products catalog there are more than 600k products (comparing to initial 100k). The amount of active users increased by 200%.

Whole management process is based on external tools (mostly Jira) and sprints. Their PM communicates with us few times in a week. Each new module includes workshops, then final features are estimated. Accepted features are moved to backlog and sorted by its priorities.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Mits team gives us important feedback when we have any new ideas. They inform us about any threats or potential problems. Thanks to a proactive approach, they provided us a professional system with very complex modules that are easy to use. Everything in reasonable time and acceptable budget.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We wish that they provide additional online marketing services - we would have everything in one place then.

I'm CTO Akanza. We employ about 20 programmers. Akanza is a software house, that derives satisfaction and pleasure from helping their clients. We do it really well.

At the beginning of our collaboration, we had several meetings with MITS. We conducted an analysis of our project. At the first stage MITS prepared mockups of the web application for us. We received several views. We made several modifications.

On this basis we created an interactive graphic design. After closing the web application project stage, we proceeded with the mobile application project. The process was similar. At the very end MITS created a land page for our product.

On our side, one person (PM) was working on the project. On the MITS side the project was carried out by 2 graphic designers.

We received a very high quality project that we are very happy with. Everything was carefully thought out. by Mits We had very few comments on the project. The time in which the order was realized for us was very short.

from the very beginning, we focused on developing our platforms and adding new functionalities. We gave up advertising the project for some time, so so far we have not had one complete page that would describe our activity in a marketing way. We needed a company that would prepare such a website for us.

What were your goals for this project?

this page would be of key importance to our project. It was supposed not only to fully describe what we do, but also to create a "wow" effect, attract attention and be interactive to some extent.

How did you select Mits?

We were looking for a suitable company via the Internet and on recommendation. We considered using the services of one of the five companies. Choosing the right company was not easy, as our expectations were really high.

We expected a large effect, impressive graphics, but also extensive animations. The website interactivity effect was very complicated and most companies did not want to take on it.

Describe the project in detail.

At the beginning of our cooperation, we had to establish all the needs and assumptions. We started with changing the brand. We created logos and graphic elements characteristic for us. During subsequent meetings, we worked together to determine what was to be on the website. We wanted the base to be a golden ring, inside which we wanted to place a digital city.

Each building, elements of infrastructure and nature were prepared especially for us. Each section on the page was supposed to correspond to a specific place in the ring.

Thanks to the suggestions from MITS, we jointly developed the image of the site that was to be created. In addition to the home page, together we developed subpages that were to contain a lot of information about the project, but also look interesting.

MITS provided us with a complete set of services. From designing the appearance of the website to programming implementation. The biggest challenge was to create a model that is interactive. Today, the user can move around our digital city on his own. Move to sections, Zoom in and out of buildings.

On our side, there was a 3-person team that supervised the progress of work and gave suggestions. There were 4-5 people on the MITS side who dealt with the design, building the model and programming the entire website.

After the premiere, the website gained great publicity and positive opinions. Every user who browses the website is impressed by its effectiveness. On the other hand, the information subpages are clear and legible. Thanks to this website, we can conduct large-scale marketing as we know that it attracts attention to the project.

Our cooperation was very smooth. Contacting the members of the MITS team was easy and fun. We could always count on support and creative ideas.
