Kubuś - UX and web design for the Polish brand of natural products for kids
Kubuś is a favourite Polish brand of natural products for children. The brand is guided by the highest quality defined by Children Standards. An important element of Kubuś’s mission is also the education of children through safe play.
Our client approached us with the task of developing a new website for the Kubuś brand. The site was intended for both parents and their children aged 3-6. Parents should find there detailed information about the brand’s products, recipes for healthy meals and expert advice. For children, however, it was necessary to prepare a Safe Zone – a platform full of interactive attractions that supports development through play.
We were faced with the challenge of building a well-thought-out information architecture on the website and designing new UX / UI solutions that allow fast and intuitive navigation of both parents and their children in the demanding 3-6 year target group. Properly matched buttons, the distribution of content and its fairy-tale character required us to wake up the imaginative mind.
We focused on making all the content elements of the site find the perfect place for themselves. This was crucial in preparing the structure of the new Kubuś brand website. Navigation on the website should be clear and intuitive – especially when used by the youngest. The use of a large number of legible icons, the right size of buttons and short text messages – we have designed UX / UI solutions that will allow your child to use all the prepared interactive attractions in a simple way. All content is embedded in a child-friendly fairy-tale world.
The new Kubuś website supports the implementation of the brand’s mission and presents it in a modern and thrilling manner, which effects in achieving sales targets.

Espiro - Branding and website for the manufacturer of children's prams and car seats
Espiro brand belonging to Baby Design Group has been guided from the beginning by the mission contained in the claim: Designed to move. With the advent of toddlers, the mobility of parents should not be limited for them to have the possibility to show the world to their newborn children. In addition, the design of the pram that captivates is what counts. Quality and safety combined with design and well-thought-out and easy-to-use solutions are Espiro DNA.
We have created a branding that presents the brand in an energizing way, thanks to brand communication that is recognizable, distinctive and stands out from the others. We have designed and implemented a new website that allows you to present a wide range of products in an attractive way. For this purpose, we have prepared a photo session and shot video tutorials.
“Designed to move” is a brand claim that obliges. A modern brand offering products for a demanding customer must speak with the language of emotions. An energetic message combined with brand values such as proximity, openness and commitment causes that Espiro, thanks to our activities and strategic branding, tells a story that perfectly fits the world of the brand’s recipients. This is clearly visible on the new website. The product presentation system together with instructional videos allowed us to present the full functionality and ease of use of the brand’s products in an attractive and accessible way. Evidence of this is the decline in the bounce rate to an impressive level below 6%.

Tauron Arena Kraków - Sales catalog and offer cards for the largest sports and entertainment arena in Poland
Tauron Arena Krakow is the largest in Poland and one of the largest and most modern multi-functional sports and entertainment venues in the world. It enables the organization of events of different nature and scale, among them such sport and cultural events like concerts, festivals, film screenings, musicals, circus shows, ice shows, galas, congresses and business conferences, banquets and summer outdoor events.
A multiplicity of uses of the facility’s space and the variety of its offer meant that it was necessary to create sales materials that fully present the capabilities of Tauron Arena Krakow and show the advantages of the facility in an attractive way.
We started our work by considering how to present all the object areas and elements of the sales offer. It required focusing on analytical work and getting acquainted with all the data that summarized the two years of the facility’s existence.
We have prepared visualizations of possible organization arrangements for the space of the facility, in view of the wide range of events that can be organized at Tauron Arena Krakow. Showing full functionality will allow everyone interested in it to find the perfect solution for themselves.
To ensure a unique and visually attractive representation of the object, we used carefully selected footage, including photographs taken from the drone. We have also prepared the interior renditions of the object, maps of the facility and commuting, infographics – rich in information and easy to look at.
In addition to the catalog and based on it, we have also prepared 6 product cards, which present the most important parts of the entire Tauron Arena Krakow offer.
The new Tauron Arena Krakow catalog thanks to its coherent and visually compelling form allowed to present all the advantages of the facility, which effects in interest and increase of sales among Polish and foreign clients.

Bratex - Branding for the roof system manufacturer.
Bratex Dachy is a company specializing in the production and sale of high-quality roof plates and the Struga gutter system. The company has been operating on the market since 1991, and in 1996 it became a direct importer of the Scandinavian SSAB group, a global leader in the production of high-strength steel. Until today SSAB is a leading supplier of the company.
Bratex Dachy products are characterized by high quality, the solidity of workmanship and excellent technical and utility values. Innovation, creativity and many years of experience enable the company to design unique product solutions, fully adapted to the expectations of the most demanding customers.
The company came to us for a design project of a catalog, but after analyzing the visual identification system, we noticed that a lot of chaos and inaccuracy crept into it. Five hundred distributors on the Polish market and 11,500 m2 of modern space created in 2017 oblige the company to have clearly defined and refined brand guidelines and a coherent image. We had to take care of it first.
We designed the whole system of signs identifying and systematizing a wide family of products. Coherence and consistency prevailed, qualities necessary for brand recognition and awareness. The system is easy to expand with new products, so it is fully adapted to the company focused on continuous development.
The Bratex Dachy brand, as well as all products that are subbrands, have a systematic visual identification, thanks to which the whole brand ecosystem is recognizable and through its order, they communicate the reliability and stability of the brand, which makes it perceived as a trustworthy partner and solution provider of roof systems. This results in a sales increase.

#OMGKRK - Branding for Krakow Startup Community
#OMGKRK is the Polish biggest startup community, based in Krakow. The mission of the Foundation Supporting #OMGKRK is to build a world-class innovation ecosystem that helps startups develop in the best direction, at every stage of development.
The main focus is to:
1) Grow and advance the digital economy in the Krakow.
2) Create a connected community with content, tools, and events.
3) Inspire and educate entrepreneurs.
By expanding the diversity of stakeholders and partners, the Foundation Supporting #OMGKRK works to deliver value and grow Krakow’s startup community.
The main problem was the lack of clear brand guidelines, specific standards that would preserve the brand’s consistency and ensured recognition among the target group – entrepreneurs, investors, enthusiasts of the startup industry.
The result was chaos in brand communication, both in digital and printed materials and in the visual setting of events organized within the community.
The Foundation Supporting #OMGKRK came to us for help in creating coherent, distinctive and really attractive branding of the community, which will reflect its modern and dynamic character.
We began our work with the restoration of the logotype, whose characteristic element is the three-dimensional # sign (hash). It was refreshed by us and set on a grid made of equilateral triangles, which then became the basis for typography. The new logotype design has also become the starting point for further design guidelines and rules for the composition of further branding elements.
A result is a compelling, recognizable and strong brand for a demanding community.

Autotesto applies rigorous procedures and is able to provide a detailed technical report in 24 hours.
The result is an easier decision regarding the purchase for a potential customer. What follows – it allows you to save time, money and what to say – nerves.
Our client came to us with a complex problem. The information on the website did not appear legibly. The system of ordering the service and the construction of the shopping path resulted in the fact that many people resigned from ordering the service along the way. The conversion was unsatisfactory.
We faced the challenge of rebuilding the information architecture on the website and designing new UX / UI solutions that will allow the user to order the service quickly and intuitively.
We focused on making all the content elements of the site find the perfect place for themselves. This was crucial when preparing the structure of the new Autotesto website. The second thing is to ensure the readability of all information: a description of service packages, price list, and output reports.
All our activities caused that the new Autotesto website, thanks to its ease of use and simplifying the way of purchasing the service, resulted in an increase in conversions for our client.

3A Composites Mobility - Branding for the global leader of a road and railway vehicle components.
3A Composites is a Swiss company with over 60 years of experience, operating on four continents, employing over 4000 employees. It is part of the international concern Schweiter Technologies AG. In 2015, 3A Composites bought the Polish company Plastwag and merged it with its Airex Composite Structures brand, which for many years of operation has established itself a stable position on the world market in the production and development of intelligent composite materials.
As a result of the merger of these two companies, there was renaming and the brand 3A Composites | Mobility was created. The new name derives from the parent company and combines the composite with mobility. Currently, it is the main supplier of ready-made components for leading brands of rail and road vehicles, such as Stadler, Siemens, and Solaris.
Our challenge was to comprehensively create the brand image of 3A Composites Mobility, taking into account its leading position in production on the global market.
Our client offered us a cooperative journey into the future, during which we took care of the branding of the company, presenting the brand as an employer at a high European level, modern, providing stable employment, security, development and promotion opportunities to its employees.
A breakthrough event for 3A Composites Mobility was participation in the international InnoTrans fair in Berlin, during which the new name and branding were publicly presented for the first time. The company’s stand was very popular. Branding 3A Composites | Mobility is a strategy of above-average growth and from the very beginning, it was treated as an investment which, closely correlated with the business strategy of the company, brings the expected results. The brand looks modern and is perceived by customers as a reliable business partner. Branding also allowed to build a strong sense of an employee’s identity with the company.

Łukasz Pieniążek - Personal branding and marketing for Rally Driver
Łukasz Pieniążek is a young and talented rally driver from Częstochowa, currently running for the World Rally Championships WRC2. At this early stage in his career, Łukasz has already brought home countless awards—both nationally and internationally. In preparation for the next phase of growth in his career, Łukasz came to us with a near-blank slate in terms of branding and ID work.
In late 2017, after qualifying for the WRC2, Łukasz decided to level up his brand so that it could more accurately reflect his accomplishments and ambitions. When we first started working with Łukasz, he didn’t know what he wanted or what shape it would take on—but he knew he was looking for something fresh and different—something unconventional in comparison to what you typically see in the rally industry. Łukasz wanted to differentiate himself from the competition while positioning himself as a force to be reckoned with.
Łukasz had two main goals:
– first, to attract new fans from outside the industry,
– second, to cater to potential sponsors.
Once we had a strong visual ID, we were able to create an overarching theme in the website design that was consistent with his brand and identity. We also dealt with car branding - we built a unique, dynamic machine from the future. At the controls of a timeless vehicle sits a crew in our design overalls, graphically adapted to the silhouettes/profile and in hand-painted helmets.
We have built an original and professional image of Łukasz, who stood out from the competition. We helped him create a reliable brand and a credible presentation of himself as a man who achieved success as a rally driver. The implementation of a well-thought-out strategy meant that Łukasz's visibility increased significantly and allowed him to present his professional achievements to a wide audience.

.KTW - Branding, communication strategy and multichannel campaign
Challenge
.KTW are two modern office buildings in the very centre of Katowice, which are two of the tallest buildings in the whole Silesia. We have partnered with TDJ Estate to promote one of the largest investments of the last decade in Silesia and tame the inhabitants with the idea of a project that will completely change the appearance of the city center.
Sollution
Working on brand awareness, visual identity and teaser and website, we had a goal in front of our eyes, we presented all the advantages of the investment and the opportunities that it opens for residents and the region. We have shown not only the functional and timeless character of the building, but also Silesia itself and the huge opportunities for investors that this region has.
Outcome
The promotional campaign, revealing fragments of new objects, turned out to be a hit. Residents welcomed the planned investment. The communication strategy and all the materials prepared have made it possible to achieve the intended goal, and the unconventional approach to the website design and BTL materials has been recognized in the international competition CSS Design Awards.

Royal Canin - wolneodstresu.pl Campaign Animal-Friendly Waiting Room
Royal Canin is one of the biggest global producers of pet food for dogs and cats. The company based in France has offered its products for 50 years. Its Polish branch has operated in Niepołomice near Kraków for one decade. Upon its order, we have carried out the Animal-Friendly Waiting Room – a pioneer project conforming to the strategy of corporate social responsibility.
Our task was to prepare the wolneodstresu.pl website, to create a video for veterinarians and a series of animations, and to prepare and conduct a multichannel promotion campaign.
The idea of the creation Animal-Friendly Waiting Room was inspired by research that proves that not only people but also animals experience a feeling of anxiety when visiting a medical facility. However, contrary to people, this anxiety is exacerbated by the hardship of traveling and differences between species of four-legged animals staying in the waiting room. A dog’s encounter with a cat before a visit to a veterinarian may increase the stress level to the limits.
Our customers decided to solve this problem and created the concept of a waiting room where animals could feel comfortable. Getting the message across to animal owners was very important. It was for them that we prepared a series of animations illustrating the most frequent mistakes made during transport and veterinary visits.
A video through a cat’s eyes
One of the key issues was to separate waiting places for dogs and cats. In order to make veterinarians aware of this problem, we prepared a video showing a cat’s visit that is presented mainly from the animal’s perspective. The aim of the campaign was to involve the biggest possible number of veterinary rooms and clinics in the project. The results surpassed our expectations. Until now, already over 70 outpatient clinics have been rebuilt according to the idea of Animal-Friendly Waiting Room.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the Managing Partner/Co-owner of Accent4Professionals . We’ve been supporting the Business Services Sector for more than 20 years, both in the language training and language assessments in the recruitment process.
For what projects/services did your company hire Funktional?
Language Assessments- is a service provided by Accent for Professionals, which has been operating for over 20 years. Language Assessments offers corporations and recruitment companies remote recruitment support, verifying the language skills of job candidates and conducting language audits of employees.
How did you select this vendor?
We liked their approach to the project. Even though we were under the impression that a simple landing page would be enough, we’ve decided to see their point of view and realized that in order to fully achieve the goals we set, a bit more work needed to be done.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The agency has defined the strategic direction and the creative concept. They focused on a transparent presentation of the offer and benefits, as well as dedicated illustrations that added lightness and a unique character to the project. During the workshops which kickstarted the whole project the agency convinced us to present the service in the way they recommended.
Funktional made a website design and implementation, UX / UI project, communication concept, information architecture and dedicated illustrations. The site has become clear, functional and encouraging to buy the service as we hear from our new customers.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The team consisted of a Project Manager, UX/UI designer, Creative Director Brand & Communication Strategist and Web Developers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The most measurable outcome was, that we have wanted for the website to work as a first salesperson in our organization, and it did. Our clients who contacted us after viewing the website already had a lot of knowledge about what we do, so we didn’t have to explain everything by ourselves and skip straight to creating the offer for them.
It’s fair to say, that the business goals for the website were reached through a very pleasant cooperation.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was all very organized. The workflow has been very effective. From the moment we briefed the team until the final delivery, everything went very smoothly.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I think the most valuable was the approach which suggested us at the very beginning, that we need the website to be more than we’ve previously assumed. Funktional with its proactive approach convinced us during the workshops, that it would be better to put in some more work into the website and prepare the whole strategic process which the website should respond to. We trusted them with that and they delivered.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
To be honest - this project went really smoothly. I didn't find any significant areas of improvement. I’m very happy with the results.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the production manager at PanDruk. We offer care and management of printing services as well as a wide range of online printing houses.
For what projects/services did your company hire Funktional?
We wanted to change the image of our printing house. For this, we needed an agency that understands the modern approach to our services, i.e. printing. We needed to build a new UX/UI project in such a way that it was as readable as possible for our clients and could fully present our offer.
How did you select this vendor?
We have been cooperating with the Funktional agency for many years. They are our partner in strategic activities. We decided to work with them because they know the requirements of working with a printing house like hardly anyone, and to realize our vision of the new website, we needed a partner who would be able to play our role.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Work on the project began with understanding our needs. Funktional agency employees, through appropriate research and analysis, got to know our industry and competition. During the workshops, we understood our business better and saw the opportunities and threats. The workshop showed our strengths as a company and how we should communicate with our clients.
Working on the design of a new website is the transfer of our dreams and desires into one project. Implementation and development are somehow a precision of the agency. First of all, we wanted the mobile first approach, so that our clients could easily get to know our offer, even in difficult conditions, and commission us a new task.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The team consisted of a project manager, two Senior UX/UI designers joined by a UX designer. Their UX & Creative director was also in the process and provided a lot of support. For the website to function as well as possible, it was implemented by one of their developers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After publishing the new website, we received many positive reviews. Our clients agreed that the new website better communicates our strengths, the range of our services and our approach to clients. We are still working on the development of the knowledge zone, where our clients could learn more about services, and above all about working in the print management model.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Funktional agency employees approached the project with an analytical and open mind. At each stage, each of the employees showed professionalism. Communication with the agency was at a high level, and the use of the iterative work model allowed us to understand our team with agency designers.
Focusing on our problems was the key point in the realization of the project. At every step, we were surrounded by professionals who showed us the direction of our activities. The cooperation went smoothly and at the same time, we gained enormous knowledge about our industry and competition.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What intrigued us was the methodical approach to project implementation. Proper building of the schedule of activities showed us at an early stage that we are in the right hands.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
It is difficult to pinpoint any area. They were able to bring our vision to reality. Particularly noteworthy is the knowledge of strategy and branding.

After we finalized the design, they took care of the technical aspects of the project. The website was built in WordPress, and it’s integrated with our CRM.
What is the team composition?
We worked directly with two people: one project manager and a lead technician.
How did you come to work with Funktional?
We did extensive research and sent our brief to eight companies in Poland. Based on our meetings, we asked for offers and found that Funktional was best suited for our needs.
How much have you invested with them?

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Saveinvest. We're a land developer. We purchase large amounts of land and split it into plots for our customers.
What challenge were you trying to address with Funktional?
Our website was not functional and didn’t fit our needs. We needed multiple websites developed for each of our properties.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They designed and developed four new websites – each for a different location. The websites allow customers to see the plots and their prices. The websites were done in WordPress. They also helped with branding, including designing our logo.
What is the team composition?
Our main points of contact were Hubert (CEO) and Pawel (Project Manager).
How much have you invested with them?
We spent roughly $40,000 in total. Each website cost approximately $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in March 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have a good product, but the old website didn’t show that very well, forcing our price point lower. With the websites Funktional has created, we can charge more appropriately. Our revenue has increased from around $500,000 per year to $800,000 per year.
How did Funktional perform from a project management standpoint?
Pawel is easily available, and the team is communicative and responsive. They’re willing to work after hours and on weekends when needed. We used Google Documents to collaborate on the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They bring their expertise into the conversation to help us get the best results. When we present ideas, they give honest feedback if they think there are better ways to do something. We work together to come up with the best solutions and give the websites the most put-together look. The service they provide is far better than anything we’ve experienced with previous vendors.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There are times they seem a bit overloaded with their workload.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to their ideas, work together, and trust them. Pawel is great to work with as a project manager.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the E-commerce Marketing Director of Sferis.pl. We’re a multi-brand e-commerce platform with a strong position in Poland. Our clients rely on our nearly 22 years experience in the fields of best service, attractive prices and customer-oriented experience.
For what projects/services did your company hire Funktional?
We’ve reached out to Funktional to help us tackle two main challenges: lack of clarity & coherence in our strategy after switching from selling mostly electronics to a wide range of multi-brand products. We also had outdated branding that demanded change. We decided to find external help and consulting services in order to ensure a fresh approach and to optimize the resources engaged in the project.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed an updated strategy and branding that would reflect the changes we went through in both product range and business model and allowed us to reposition the brand. We wanted to achieve a strong association with modernity, care, and reliability.
How did you select this vendor?
Funktional came by the word of mouth - as a high-quality cooperation recommendation. We did some research and after two meetings with their CEO - Hubert and the creative director Ania we felt that the company's attitude and approach stood out in comparison to other agencies we talked to. Hence, we decided to start this project with Funktional.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
They spent a large amount of time asking questions and listening to us. They learned about our organizational goals and history, did extensive research, conducted brand workshops, prepared the new strategy, developed the new logo together with communication guidelines and put it all together as a complete brand book.
What was the team composition?
We first talked with Hubert (CEO @Funktional) and Creative Director Ania who both gave us the pitch. Then a project manager took over, but Funktional takes a team approach to their accounts, which allows you to connect with multiple people that all bring something special to the creative process. I worked directly with the CEO, Project Manager and the Strategist.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since working with Funktional, we have received many positive remarks about our new logo and image. Our newly implemented strategy has led to a significant increase in sales. Everyone within our organization loves our new brand identity.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Some time mid-project we have experienced some minor difficuties in communication but this was quickly taken care of. In general, our project manager was great to work with. We used phones, email or text. He was very communicative and patient. When I had a question or concern he would find the answer and get back to me in a timely manner.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was most impressed by their commitment to really learn and understand our organization during the whole process. It felt like they truly cared about our mission and vision and had a vested interest in our success. The team is extremely creative and took extra steps to create our brand image. .
Are there any areas for improvement?
We are overall very satisfied with the services delivered, though there is always room for improvement. With the next project I would recommend to focus a little bit more on the communication side and make sure that the framework of the project has been entirely understood by everyone involved. However, I must point out that once we highlighted any irregularities to our project manager, they were swiftly taken care of so I would not hesitate to collaborate with Funktional on future projects.

For what projects/services did your company hire Funktional ?
PPC, SEM, AdWords, FB Advertising.
What were your goals for this project?
To reach a cost/conv at $40 (I was getting it at $187/conv) and once reached, scale the budget up to $50K/month.
How did you select this vendor?
I found them via their ads on Internet. Sent a form, and they contacted me back within the next 4 hours. Described the whole project & limitations faced, and they initially ran me through their strategy, and started working on the account step by step to achieve the conversion costs & optimizations.
Describe the project in detail.
- Increased Adwords conversion by 200x after understanding the major problem faced.
- Used manual cpc for bidding, defined custom audience for remarketing, targeted custom & similar audience on both channels, shifted from cpm to cpc, implemented display ads, universal app ads along with search ads.
- Did day/time analysis, created pivot charts & tables to understand conversions. Increased the conversion rate from 20 signups to 150 signups/day with 20% less budget than previously used.
What was the team composition?
Wojtek was a project manager that was included in every call for detailed reporting. Marcin was included in any copywriting details including the ads. Hubert is the owner and was always supportive and coming with the strategies. Lastly, Kasia was the person who was the heart & soul of whole optimization and she did everything related to AdWords problems and account management.

“We never had an issue with their team; they consistently hit deadlines and met our requirements.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director at a global marketing agency.
What challenge were you trying to address with Funktional?
We had a core creative team of about 125 people, but we were still struggling to serve our global client base. We wanted a solution that allowed us to scale our business without hiring full-time employees. We outsourced a team to handle our lower-level needs, but we still needed a vendor to take on projects in our high-value pipeline.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, the Funktional team focused on creative production execution. They weren’t necessarily designing anything on their own, but instead executing provided designs that aligned with our standards. Eventually, we built up enough trust to expand their role to include creating their own digital and print designs. They executed a variety of creative project on their own, like print collateral, brochures, and other things of the sort.
What is the team composition?
I mainly worked with Hubert (CEO & Founder, Funktional), but they also provided a background team of about 14 that consisted of project managers, creatives, and outsourced proofreaders. Of those resources, we had access to about five of them.
How did you come to work with Funktional?
I heard from a colleague that Poland was a place of great outsourcing opportunity. After looking into a dozen different vendors, I combined a list of my five top candidates. I visited each of them. When meeting with Funktional, I spoke with Hubert and was impressed by their capabilities. We chose to work with their team, and they proceeded to grow their company around our partnership. It was a mutually beneficial relationship.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $250,000–$400,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from June 2016–December 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Because we didn’t have to hire any more full-time employees, we were able to keep our payroll down while maintaining our quality and turnaround time. I really appreciated their QA process. We never had an issue with their team; they consistently hit deadlines and met our requirements.
How did Funktional perform from a project management standpoint?
The workflow was very smooth. We set up the engagement in a way that allowed us to benefit from the six-hour time difference. We placed requests at the end of our day, and the Funktional team completed them by the next morning. For communication, we primarily used email. They used Teamwork to track their workload, but we used Workfront. Both systems were efficient. We’re looking forward to the upcoming work we have scheduled with their team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I think I’ve said it all. They delivered great work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Any advice for potential customers?
Don’t be afraid to outsource with Funktional, the culture and language barriers aren’t there.

Please describe your company and your position there.
My name is Paulina Staruszniak, and I’m Brand Manager at Maspex Group. I'm responsible for development and strategy of Tymbark Brand. Also for design and execution of marketing campaigns.
For what projects/services did your company hire Funktional?
We turned to the Funktional Agency to create a new website for Tymbark (Maspex Group). The website had to be adapted primarily to our clients - the users of mobile phones. We also wanted to build a flexible and intuitive CMS system that would be a great support for our marketing and sales department. Our old website didn’t follow the current trends and was not adapted to the strategic assumptions of the brand.
How did you select this vendor?
We have already worked with the Funktional Agency on other projects as the Maspex Group. We already know each other and we know that we have a great time working together.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We started working on the website for Tymbark with a kick-off meeting, and then the agency offered workshops. During these workshops, we focused on the needs of our clients, but also on the business needs of the marketing and legal department. In our company, these two departments are responsible for editing the website in the CMS system. Such workshops were a bull's eye - we set all the assumptions at them. After the workshop, a strategy was developed, and then page mock-ups were prepared.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked directly with Project Manager (Paweł) and Creative Director (Ania). UX designers, developer, copywriters, strategist, and designers worked on the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our website works as it should - it does the job. It was very well received by our clients. Our employees are great at working with it - this CMS is very intuitive. Thanks to it, we reduced the risk of errors while editing the website and we accelerated the time of editing products on the website.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They had great project management skills and very talented UX designers. Everything was planned in advance and executed on time. We progressed according to the original plan.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability to translate words into UI was phenomenal. They delivered a final product that made sense to all of us. They focused on understanding problems and our needs.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
...
Thanks to Funktional, the website served as the first salesperson in the organization, achieving the project's business goals. The site became clear, functional, and encouraging to avail the services as testified by customers. Funktional led an effective workflow from the start until the delivery.
