I’m owner of an education tech startup based in Poland. My platform skillsy.com.pl is the announcement portal for teachers, coaches and tutors who educate people. For now we to concentrate as many training anouncements as possible in one place. The platform is the minimum viable product but we plan to develop it.

We needed specialists who would make the entire platform from scratch, including logotype, design, layouts, UX/UI, coding and also server and mail maintenance.
What were your goals for this project?
Our main goal was to create an advertising platform as mvp and define development plans.
How did you select this vendor?
Internet research.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They created a platform from scratch. They designed the logotype and the appearance of the platform, created UX/UI, implemented the code, but also ensured maintenance of the server and e-mail. They made changes to the project at our request. Thanks to them, we have defined the development plans for the platform.
What was the team composition?
Initially, the project was discussed with the frontman and after defining the rules of cooperation, we contacted directly with the founder and the head of Frogriot, who was also the project manager.

Thanks to them we could introduce our idea into life and start developing our startup.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the digital marketing manager at a bathroom supply company. We offer rentals and service for toilet cabins, sanitary facilities, floating fences, washbasins, free-standing urinals, and office and sanitary containers.
For what projects/services did your company hire FROGRIOT?
We wanted to rebuild our site on an e-commerce platform and redesign it with compatible UX/UI.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to improve the user experience for individual and commercial orders with an automated pricing system and a virtual personal assistant. The former needed to accommodate our non-traditional product and e-commerce structure.
How did you select this vendor?
We contacted several digital studios and then picked FROGRIOT after considering quality, price, and customer service.
Describe the project in detail.
FROGRIOT coded and designed the e-commerce platform. For product pages, the team included comprehensive descriptions and focused on accessible designs. They created infographics and a few dozen small animations that appear when users scroll across or interact with a page.
The team then built the virtual personal assistant. The tool was fully-customizable with thousands of configuration options; it chose products based on predefined requirements. The virtual assistant also generated prices by factoring the rental period, service specifications, and logistics options.
What was the team composition?
The team included a project manager, a graphic designer, a UX designer, and three web developers.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in May 2016 and ended in April 2017.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The new user experience and features increased sales and made the website more integral to overall revenue. The personal assistant was the most important component and helped convert visitors to clients. Significantly, we grew the customer base without needing to hire more resources.
How effective was workflow and communication between your team and theirs?
We communicated daily with the project manager, who was available 24/7 to discuss every little aspect of the project. Thanks to their devotion and creativity, we received a first-class e-commerce platform that made the shopping process more attractive and effective.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
FROGRIOT had a great work ethic. They not only built the product as requested, but also recommended changes we hadn’t previously considered. We plan to stay with them and recommend the team to any business venture that is looking for an innovative partner to help customers grow.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, I can’t think of anything. The project is still developing; we have fresh sales and marketing ideas that we’ll introduce in the future.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the CEO of an education tech startup based in Poland. Our platform, Super-edu.pl, connects schools with freelancers and teachers in Poland who specialize in a variety of subjects. We help facilitated direct interactions between students and vendors.
For what projects/services did your company hire FROGRIOT – digital studio?
We needed resources to build our entire platform, including the UX/UI, coding, and design. Once completing the product, we also needed help positioning ourselves within our respective market with social media management.
What were your goals for this project?
Not only did we want to create a user- and vendor-friendly platform for educational purposes, but we sought to gain more clients and vendors.
How did you select this vendor?
A colleague recommended them to me.
Describe the project in detail.
They developed the entire platform, completing the wireframes and UX/UI as well as implementing their code. The platform featured information on private lessons with tutors, teachers, and language schools. Students could connect directly with their chosen vendor, book sessions, and then pay for them. Conversely, vendors could advertise their tutoring services to users.
After building the product, they handled our payments and analytics as well as our digital marketing. This encompassed our social media, entry-market plan, and a profit-loss plan. While they’ve completed the main development, they currently continue to manage our social media accounts and maintain the platform.
What was the team composition?
We worked with a project manager, UI designers, and UX programmers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
With their great platform and excellent marketing campaigns, we managed to grow very quickly. Our total users base has grown to over 5,000 members, and our sales increased by 800% within a short time frame. They established our online presence, allowing us to expand our services across the entire country, serving over 2,000 cities. Now, we’re planning to expand to other Europeans states with their support.
How effective was workflow and communication between your team and theirs?
They followed an agile methodology, working closely with us throughout the development and campaigning phases. I appreciated their great customer service, and they were always willing to answer my questions promptly. What’s more, they worked quickly and had endless ideas to improve both my service and my business.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I valued how they didn’t just build a software for us, but helped us understand crucial facts about our industry. Furthermore, they took care of all the details and provided helpful marketing and business suggestions. Overall, I enjoyed working with them and recommend them to other startups.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, nothing comes to mind.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the Marketing and PR manager for a women’s clothing retailer. We sell clothes both online and off.
What challenge were you trying to address with FROGRIOT?
We needed web design and development help for our retail company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve worked on multiple projects for us including digital platforms, landing pages, and content creation – and they’ve also led some of our campaigns. We had one project that took two years to complete that they helped us with. We were building an international pressroom platform where journalists could download our pictures and campaigns and then publish them. It was designed for our service and they built it using their CMS. The first version was completed two years ago, and we updated it to the second version this year with many new features and functions, including the ability to download videos from the campaign.
One of our first big international campaigns with them was a new lead campaign. We gathered the leads, which were new email addresses. They did a great job creating it and developed a successful strategy to engage people on Facebook.
What is the team composition?
We worked through a single project manager, but there were also a number of developers working on our project.
How did you come to work with FROGRIOT?
I was looking for a smaller company who could provide good quality, and they were recommended to us by a friend. We started off with a smaller project and then brought them on for bigger projects as well.
How much have you invested in them?
We have spent over €50,000 ($59,892 USD)
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since August 2013.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The new lead campaign was one of our most successful ever, garnering 30,000 emails internationally. They always provide us with very nice designs, which we appreciate. They offer a really great service and we can rely on them, which is why we have continued to work with them.
How did FROGRIOT perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication is always done through the project manager, which we’ve found to be a very simple process, but there hasn’t been a problem if we needed the owner to be part of one of our meetings. They’re easy going, and always use a very individual approach.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They always take care of the details and make sure that we have good analytics and a nice design. They also have a great approach. Their creativity when it comes to design is impressive, as is their ability to build detailed pages which always work well. They also have a lot of UX experience, which not all companies have.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be good if they developed and pushed their content marketing.
