"Our product images, website, and image online was created some time ago and had become outdated. Our website was done on a WIX website that limited our capabilities as an ecommerce. The product photos were also very poorly done the first time so and Since we didn't have in-house developers to invest in a new website, we hired Frenchy to design, shoot, and develop a new Shopify website for us. By doing this, we were hoping to increase our traffic substantially by the end of the year, and actually sell our items."

Grillz.com The leaky Bucket
Grillz.com was a leaky bucket that had more than 30,000 Hits but with less than 0.001 % Conversions.
The UX/UI experience didn’t lead the traffic from search engines to convert on the website even though the service and quality was on par with the competition.
The terms of use and privacy were to be updated and accessible to the customer to help avoid more than 1 million dollars worth of losses due to charge backs and unclear terms of use.
There was no customer service online, so Frenchy had to create and implement a chat bot to help decrease the amount of re-occurring questions that grillz.com was receiving from customers who just wanted more information.
Grillz.com representatives had no time to actually create the “Grillz” they were to busy manning the phones and wasting precious time on the creation of the jewelry. Frenchy did a complete facelift of the design, the user experience, and implemented tactics to decrease the number of inquiries via telephone to increase the actual number of conversions, and lead generation by more than 1000%.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and owner of Janvier LA, a premium jewelry company in downtown Los Angeles. We specialize in engagement rings and custom jewelry. My role is to manage business operations and development internally and with external partners.
What challenge were you trying to address with Frenchy Digital?
We tried implementing different requirements and modifications internally on our e-commerce website. However, we didn’t succeed. As a result, we realized that it would be more cost-effective to have an agency that specialized in e-commerce development.

Based on our existing website, Frenchy Digital created wireframes and conducted an audit. Once we approved the wireframes they created, they presented the potential design of our platform. After that, they went ahead and started building our Shopify website. They developed custom features on our platform. They’re finished with building our website, and we’re still working with them as they upgrade our platform’s features.

For what projects/services did your company hire Frenchy Digital, and what were your goals?
Our website was a One pager on WIX and it was very obsolete. We wanted a website that could process payments, but also send invoices to prospects and clients. We also wanted a service that enables the users to sign documents sent after starting a project and for them to keep track of the works while we were constructing their property.

Frenchy reached out to us via LinkedIn. We liked how they went about telling us about their services and since we were looking to re-do our website to be mobile friendly, it was almost a pre-determined partnership. Zaid their salesman was incredibly helpful and very responsive so we liked that approach and felt like we could trust them.

Step 1 after we signed with Frenchy we had a kickoff meeting. That’s where we gave them all our login info, godaddy details, and then they structered a game plan for the project and the milestones we would need to achieve in order to finish the project on time. We were in contact with Jasmine the whole time as she was the Technical Project Manager working with us.
She helped elaborate on what needed to be done in order for us to create the necessary content and also define the steps our clients would take when signing the forms or creating their special requirements for the construction jobs they’d want us to do. We basically left Wix and went with a more advanced Wordpress with Frenchy’s recommendations.

Thanks to the quizz, our closing rate has increased by 20%! Our website’s user experience is also astonishing! Not only did Frenchy re-vamp the look and feel, but they created a whole entire new system for our customers to use when they want us to do construction for them. It’s way easier for us to create invoices and send them to our clients via this system and we are very happy to have the new lead generation quiz on our page to filter the customers who are serious and those who are not.
We are receiving only quality leads through the new website and are very happy that Frenchy even gave us a spread out payment plan to curve the cost of our development. We gave them feedback and they were always on top of things and making us super happy with the quality of the development that was delivered.

I am a partner and Director of a Medical Psychology Clinic that offers detoxification therapy.
For what projects/services did your company hire Frenchy Digital, and what were your goals?
We had An old System that was all through paper and nothing digital. Be it appointments, patient info, schedules of our physicians programs or even maintenance. That old system didn’t fit our growing needs in our Clinics model so we were looking for a firm to create a custom software that would help us save time with all of the procedures stated plus help us in automating our processes.
We had a very complex schedule that involves many doctors treating the same patient so that’s also why we needed an internal mobile app that is tailored to our needs. We also needed help with social media, we were paying different agencies and had no structure or visibility on what was really done. We needed to have just one partner that manages our accounts, ads, and website updates.
We also wanted to experience and build a virtual therapy methodology to treat patients for phobias, addictions, and anxiety.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Frenchy was referred to us via another clinic in Beverly Hills in which we know the owners. We scheduled multiple meetings with other vendors to estimate our costs with going with other providers and thought in the end we’d rather go with a young team that has a lot of experience and motivation to deliver results.

When Frenchy took over management they introduced us to Jasmine the technical manager during our kickoff meeting. They asked to be added to our social media accounts as admin‘s to fully audit our accounts. They also asked our Go Daddy domain‘s logins and our word press login information in order to make sure that the app that they will creates will be easily integrated Into our current system.
This lasted a couple of weeks. After their audit was completed they filled in the missing information and connected the pixel data to our website from the social media in order to make sure tracking was optimized. They found so many issues with the current tracking system and gave us a report of what was done after the second week. Before they initiated the ads they had a meeting with us in order to confirm strategy, Ad copy, and creative.
They also re-branded our online image after the third week since we also had issues with our Google platform. Once the social media clean-up and ad campaigns were launched on Facebook and Instagram, they started working on our in-house app that would rely on React technology. We created the features together during a meeting with Jasmine and the technical team.
Once we defined all the technical aspects of the app they gave us a more detailed quote of how much it would cost in order for everything to be developed. They helped us define an MVP during that technical meeting. At first, they would develop the core features that we needed in order to structure our clinic's organization better and then the features that were not necessarily needed in the MVP.
So First we created a special scheduling system, calendar, and appointment booking system in order to already fix most of our organizational issues. The process of creating this special app and integrating it through react and WordPress took about three months in total. Since there are still features of the app that we did not create we are still ongoing with certain features but are pretty satisfied with the results already.
Frenchy helped us create also a virtual app that connects to the Oculus platform. The goal was to make a virtual reality experience for those who suffer from traumatizing events, phobias, and addictions. They brought all the materials needed and the machines so that our patients could use the system. They also helped our psychologists to create protocols for the patients using the software.

When we had our meetings in the beginning with Chris the owner who was present in order to help us structure our campaigns and set up of the accounts. Jasmine was our main point of contact in our collaboration with FRENCHY. She would be the one that would take our recommendations for the app and website and then she’d give it to her team.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Overall We needed a team to help us test this new system and integrate that in the treatment process of our clinic and scale our ads. On the social media aspect they helped us get over 1M views on our ads, over 10,000 patientes booked through our integrated system using social media. We are able to take on average 30 more patients a day since our schedules are no longer hectic.
We had to hire 4 more Drs and psychologists since the number of patients has increased by more than 450% in the past year. With the video ads, they targeted everyone who had anxiety issues, depression, stress, and who were looking for 3-4 week detoxification sessions. The objective of these ads was for potential patients to watch at least 10s of the video and potentially send a message directly to the clinic and become a lead.
These results are as follows : Over 15,000 Likes 4,300 comments 9.100 Shares 1,797,000 views of more than 10s Meaning that almost 1M potential patients living in this local market, have seen these videos of the clinic. Frenchy started the publicities in late October 2019 but has consistently every month up until today have generated at least 300 leads a month in general. In all, they’ve generated over 4M dollars worth of traffic to this clinic since the beginning of our collaboration.

That’s not an understatement, they were able to make a google score above 80 for mobile which we have rarely seen for websites like our own. The user experience is fluid and not confusing anymore!

We were searching online for different providers online but wanted someone who had a taste and had the LA vibe. We searched for agencies in LA that had awesome reviews for web developers and then created a list of around 10. After interviewing them, we chose Frenchy based on their past projects, design skills, and cost estimate. Plus they also proposed to do the photoshoot for me and make everything from scratch. I was delighted at the fact that all I had to do was send them products to get everything situated as quickly as possible.

We had more than 1 meeting in the beginning. At first, we had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives. From there, the team delivered mock-ups and wireframes for our site. The team also created a Pinterest board and mood board for the photoshoot with a selection of models that fit our brand image. After a couple of weeks of planning, they did the shoot on a beach in Los Angeles and Malibu.
They not only did a shoot though, they also took behind-the-scenes videos and created lots of great content that would later on go on the website. For the website after a few iterations, their team designed and developed a beautiful e-commerce website that had all the bells and whistles the big players in our space had. They updated the content to reflect our company's services and created an about us page with a contact form. They completely updated our terms of operations policies and made them GDPR compliant.

Jasmine was our main point of contact throughout the process. There were also 1 full-stack developer and a designer working behind the scenes. Chris the owner was always included in our communications making sure we as a client were satisfied and had all our inquiries met to our expectations.

Clients and contacts love the updated design, and they now have a better understanding of our products. We are satisfied by the quickness of the development and are very appreciative of Frenchy’s flexibility.

We had daily updates with Jasmine, who communicated with the rest of the team. If there were any delays, they let us know ahead of time so that we could prepare. We used text, Gmail, and Trello to coordinate, and they worked well with our team.

They gave us a professional site that's easy to update and use. My team has never worked with Shopify before, so they took the time to teach us how to update the content ourselves. We really like their implementations in the training they gave us and truly see them as a Long term partner that will be playing a key role in our success.

When we first launched, we had some minor changes that were decided last minute but that made the launch go a little slower than predicted. We let them know, and they were quick to do the adjustments but we only lost 24h. They then made up by their intense dedication to making the project go live with no bugs or flaws. Shopify the platform itself had a worldwide update so even then they were on top of it. We appreciate their communication on this and always kept us updated on things that weren’t necessarily their fault but that did have an impact on the website.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the COO of a business that focuses on making custom grills. We also make jewelry, and we tell our customers that if they can imagine something, we can make it for them. We cater in the Los Angeles area and to some of Hollywood’s most famous celebrities.
I oversee all of our operations, including product management and customer relations. I make sure that everything is perfect from the moment we get the customers’ orders to the moment they receive them, ensuring that they’re happy.
What challenge were you trying to address with FR Digital?
We originally had a bad website. We offered plenty of options and customizations, but customers were confused because they had to place the order at the checkout just to see prices. It wasn’t a good experience. We also shipped worldwide, so it was truly important for us to have someone to fix our website and UX, and that was when we hired FR Digital.
What was the scope of their involvement?
FR Digital rebuilt our website from scratch. Customers should be able to click or add upgrades any way they wanted without any confusing navigation and pricing. As a result, the first thing we did was a UX workshop, where they showed us ways to improve our customers’ experience.
We also faced an issue where we were getting more than 30,000 hits per month but few of them were converting. There was no way to contact those leads, and we didn’t know why they weren’t checking out their orders. After building the website, FR Digital helped us find a system to address this issue.
Moreover, I wanted an order tracking system where customers could see where their order was, similar to ordering a pizza for delivery. However, that feature would’ve been way out of our budget. FR Digital built that up in a way that was economical and practical. They also fixed up our logos. When we put our branding in boxes, we needed certain types of images, and FR Digital made those images look nice and modern.
At present, they’re helping us with online ads. On top of that, they’ve created social media accounts for us on social platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest. They do a lot of testing to ensure that the best system is in place. When it doesn’t work, the team finds ways to fix it. Furthermore, they're leading our SMS campaigns where they follow up on people who signed up for our mailing list. We’ve also started developing an app with their help.

With FR Digital’s efforts, our revenue has increased by over 400%. Customers can easily check out their orders since the process is streamlined, and we've found good ways to retarget everyone. People now have an easier checkout experience. As a result, they add things to their cart and check them out more often.
Beyond that, FR Digital’s marketing efforts on Google and other platforms have generated more calls than before, so we’ve added a couple of people to our sales team. We’ve also hired other people for running around and doing tasks — business has truly gotten busier.
How did FR Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is amazing because they’re transparent. We use Slack for all our communications, while we use a Trello board to update everything. We see what they’re working on at the moment and know if they need us to answer a question. We do use emails and phone calls when necessary. However, Slack and Trello put everyone on the same page even if they aren’t at our in-person meetings. FR Digital also trains every person on our team around how to use Trello boards, Google Documents, and other systems. It’s amazing that they take the time to do this even if it's not a part of their contract.
Moreover, having only three main points of contact makes communication much easier; I don’t talk to a different person in a different department every day. They also understand me well because our communication is so close.
On top of that, when the FR Digital team indicates a timeline, they do things according to it. If, for any reason, they’re a couple of hours behind schedule, they immediately update our boards and send me a text message. In other words, I never have to run after them to make sure they’re doing their jobs.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They don’t only execute what we tell them; they also come up with a better solution and strategy. They think outside the box and spend plenty of time thinking about ideas. FR Digital truly cares about the companies they work with, and I’ve never seen other businesses go way above and beyond to make things easier. Every time an issue appears, FR Digital does independent research — they figure things out.
Overall, they’re such a good company. For many, it’s so easy to sit back, not think outside the box, and just execute what needs to be done — it’s human nature to take the easy way out. However, FR Digital doesn’t do that. If I have their work ethics, communication, and transparency, I’ll be tenfold more successful than I am now. In other words, they inspire me to do better.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. I don’t know what they can do better because they’re a good company. They’re transparent, honest, on time, and responsive, so I can’t think of any areas of improvement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Tell FR Digital everything from the beginning, including things that are not important. Sometimes, I only mention things to make conversation, but then they'll write those things down and come to me with a solution the next day.
Moreover, make sure you take their onboarding meetings seriously. I’ve been unwilling to take such meetings because I don’t have time for them. However, after putting in my effort, I’ve realized why they’re necessary. If you’re working with FR Digital, take those meetings seriously. Put everything into them, think hard about your answers to their questions, and tell them what they want to know. That way, you can save time, and you’ll see immediate changes to your issues.

Frenchy Digital did a full audit of our online presence and laid out the basic structure that we should follow in order to make sure our business grows effectively. They took from a birds eye view, decisions on our web design and customer experience to make Vnus Box more adaptable to its growing customer base.
We were on Cratejoy to start, and we were looking to develop on Shopify or Wordpress to fit our needs for more customization. We wanted our platform to develop into a multi channel hub that not only sells products but that sells its own products and also create an affiliate marketing portal for partners and representatives.
Frenchy gave us knowledge on the industry that we didn’t have before in order to make decisions on what functionalities the website should have. They completely developed from scratch a mobile friendly website that’s still being updated at the moment, but it’s a huge step forward for Vnus.
Frenchy helped establish relationships with other business owners to help develop our brand and awareness in our local community but also help us develop our pitch for potential investors. One, the look and feel of the website is completely different. During our 1st testing phase we had customers ordering from the website! From the work that has been done we had new subscribers coming to the new website even though there was no promotion or heavy SEO work done on the new domain. We still had our old website up while the test site was online and customers are currently shifting from the old one to the new!

They helped restructure our organization and grow our team.
