A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the clinical director of a nonprofit mental health clinic for at-risk youth and their families.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fourth Dimension Logo?
We wanted to redesign our website and run successful fundraising campaigns.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They redesigned our WordPress website. First, we met with them to discuss the most important factors of the engagement as well as requirements. We run various regional campaigns centered around current events in addition to events themed off widely-recognized things like National Mental Health Day. Because of this, we wanted to rotate their advertising campaigns based on what we were working on at the time.
We also talked about different campaign ideas such as logos and graphic design for flyers and other collateral. After that, they took the information we discussed and designed everything. We’d meet with them to review their work. When we changed our campaign midway through the project, they came to our offices to meet with us. At this point, the site is launched, and they’re still working on quarterly campaigns with us.
What is the team composition?
I worked primarily with Adam (Founder). If I had questions, I would call him directly, and he would delegate work to his team.
How did you come to work with Fourth Dimension Logo?
One of our patients indicated that they couldn’t find what they were looking for on our website. That same patient recommended their team because they’d used them for logo design before.
How much have you invested with them?
The site redesign cost $1,000. In total, we’ve spent between $6,000–$10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in summer 2019, and our teams are maintaining a working relationship moving forward. The site launched in late July 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Because we’re a grant-funded, we have to track where our event attendees are hearing about our programming. At this point, 63% of our attendees heard of us through our promotional items.
How did Fourth Dimension Logo perform from a project management standpoint?
He was incredibly responsive, which is something I place a lot of value in. After letting him know that, they prioritized promises and turning over deliverables on time. They met our deadlines. For communication, we had phone calls and in-person meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Automated systems are very frustrating to me, and they understood that. I like dealing with the specifics of a project in-person. They took a humanitarian, flexible approach, meeting face-to-face regularly. Their team believed in our nonprofit mission, even volunteering at events that we host. For instance, they created graphics for a gala PowerPoint, and their team also volunteered to help with technology.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be communicative about your needs and reassess those parameters throughout the project. It’s important to vocalize your requirements early on because they’ll adhere to them.
The internal staff is impressed with the quality of the team’s work, intending to continue collaborating with them on future projects. Their work has contributed to a significant boost in consumer awareness through digital channels. Customers can expect an accommodating, timely team.
