OSARC is a building company. We undertake modification and renovations for different customers across Queensland. As a NDIS service provider we are also specialized in disability renovation services.
I am an IT manager and I work with different teams to accommodate any needs related to IT.
What challenge were you trying to address with the vendor?
We were looking to grow our online presence and increase revenue generated from online sales and quotation requests. Previously we were not able to generate any leads from our website and other online mediums.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired Folio Manager to get us on the top of search results for renovation and building keywords in certain areas of our liking. The first thing the Folio guys had done was to move our site to their servers in I believe which are in Australia, previously our site was hosted on GoDaddy and used to take ages to load and when they shift the site to their servers, we saw a clear difference in speed and load times.
They also modified our website and optimized its content and then started doing their magic work, it took them 3-5 months and we started to get leads from our website and calls from general people across Queensland.
They created some landing pages for us on our website and those pages performed well. We are now getting regular queries from those pages. They also manage our Facebook ads and provide design services accordingly.
The other thing that we are getting from them is the search engine listing management, where they manage our profiles across different websites like our Google My Business profile and map listings. They manage reviews and update it regularly.
What is the team composition?
Folio Manager has allocated two individuals and I contact them whenever needed, I just call or email them and tell what needs to be done and they do it within the allocated time-frame.
How did you come to work with the vendor?
Last year we hired a company based off-shore for digital marketing and SEO works, but they totally failed to bring any lead from our website or any other channel. We just wasted funds on them. Then we came across Folio Manager who is a local company and based in Brisbane, they offered us a money back guarantee for any work they do. That was a good and fair deal and since then we found them very professional and for us that’s the best return on our investment.
How much have you invested with them?
I believe we have invested around 18 - 20k since the start of our agreement.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project is still going on and they provide us a fortnightly report in our meetings.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This is a most recent screenshot of our search console, you can clearly see that after Feb 2021, the performance of the website is climbing up with 34.4K total impressions. And before that it was nothing

I think I have already answered that one.

The time they take to do any job is very impressive. If we need to update anything on our website or post something on social media, they do it really quickly.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the Operations Manager of Decon Solutions, a specialist cleaning company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Folio Manager?
We needed SEO work to appear on Google searches. We weren't getting any traffic to our website before we engaged with Folio Manager.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Folio Manager has done all of our SEO so we can appear on page one when people look for our type of cleaning service in Australia. We’ve worked closely with them on keyword research, and they’ve created Google Ads for us.
We had an existing website, and Folio Manager redesigned it. We also have another subsidiary nonprofit organization, and they built a website for that company from scratch. Additionally, they've done all the work necessary on that website as well.
What is the team composition?
We have one main point of contact, and I email this person if I need changes or other tasks done. I’m not sure about their position, but I believe they're the SEO manager or something similar.
How did you come to work with Folio Manager?
My boss found them, and they had a meeting. Then, we made a trial contract to see if their services made a difference in our positioning. They made a huge difference, so we fully signed up for their services.
How much have you invested with them?
I don't know the exact amount because I don't pay the bills, but I believe we’ve spent between $5,000–$10,000 AUD (approximately $3,800–$7,600 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around February 2021, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've noticed a considerably massive difference in the number of inquiries that we're getting over the last three months, and now, we appear really high on Google searches. Definitely, we’re gaining pace now.
Folio Manager came in in February. At the time, we only had five jobs. Now, our work has gone up, and we’re getting 16 jobs per month, which is a huge increase — we've got 4–5 times as many inquiries as before.
Everything Folio Manager does is good and really quick, and if we want something done, they do it straight away. We’re really happy with the website as well. If anything changes or we get different qualifications or awards, we send them the changes, and they update it.
How did Folio Manager perform from a project management standpoint?
We send requests to Folio Manager, and they do them the same day. With our previous company, weeks would pass before completing a request, and I had to chase them to get things done.
My manager has a quarterly meeting with them, and we get a review of how many times our website was clicked on, how many times it appeared on searches, and other similar statistics. We typically communicate with them via email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The speed of their work is impressive. They’ve quickly managed to get us on Google’s front page, and they make fast changes as needed.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't know it yet because it’s still too early on our engagement. We've been really pleased with everything that Folio Manager has done so far.

Just contact them; they're really efficient, and they'll do the work for you.
