This is a system where we provide the platform to the buyer and seller to connect through the platform. This platform will use for selling the products online & all the user’s will be able to buy products online from the nearby sellers and get delivery ordering items at their doorstep within a moment.
The products will be managed by the sellers using the application for the User, Admin, delivery concerned. The main focus of the project will be on buying and selling services. There are 3 panels (Assumed according to the app) namely;

Basically, the purpose of this application is to provide comfort to the users, they can download the app from the app store& play Store and access the app features. Users can post the product or look for the product and add it to cart and proceed further with the purchase.

Delivering what they call milestones, containing the required features. The delivery times were determined based on the agreed schedule baseline.

In the beginning, they were committed to delivery times, but with the passage of time and after delivering 50% of the requirements, the quality of their work began to decline, 4 project managers have been assigned and changed! All the remaining requirements have been neglected, and even they do not respond to requests for communication in a suspicious and unprofessional manner at all.

I’m the founder and owner of a mobile app development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fluper?
I hired Fluper to develop a mobile app called Mabella. The app is for finding and booking salon and spa services in Jordan, so the app needs to be available in both English and Arabic. Users can use the app to see salons that are near them and look at their services.

Fluper was brought in to develop the app for iOS and Android from scratch.
What is the team dynamic?
I was in contact with Richa (COO, Fluper), a project manager, and another person.
How did you come to work with Fluper?
I found them through Google. They had a lot of good reviews. However, when we started having problems with Fluper, I went back and looked at the reviews again. They had all good reviews except for one bad one, which was from a former staff member. I traveled to India to meet him, and he told me that they had a team for writing good reviews and feedback, with different fake names. All the reviews I saw on Glassdoor and other websites were fake and done from within the company.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost of my project with Fluper was $3,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in late January 2019, and we haven’t finished. The project was supposed to take 60 days, but it’s still not finished. They’re maybe 50% done. The design and code are very bad. I got remote access to the code and looked at it, and it’s copy and pasted from other apps.

Fluper’s strategy is to work in milestones. They try to take the customer’s money within the first 2–3 milestones. By the middle of the project, I’d paid more than 50%. They ask for more money for the delivery, and they force you to complete milestone payments without delivery. At the same time, the customer cannot then decide to go back, because they’ve paid more than 50%.
On the contract, they say that if the delivery is late, Fluper will return the entire amount, but this isn’t true. I tried to take my money back because they were late to deliver a milestone, but they refused to give me any refund.
I went to New Delhi twice to meet two former Fluper staff members. They told me they’re a fake company. They try to take money on milestones, and all the code is copied and pasted. I’ve decided to complete the project with them; I can’t afford to take legal action against them, since Indian lawyers cost too much money, and it would take years.
The project isn’t finished as of now. They took the Android version live, but they didn’t know what was needed for the iOS version. There was a mistake, and Apple didn’t accept the application. I called iOS support, and they told me that the app had a registration issue. I gave this information to Fluper, and they fixed it after several days, but without Arabic. They copied and pasted the source code, so it wasn’t easy to add Arabic.
How was project management handled?
The assigned project manager has very low skills, and customer service is bad. They don’t answer my calls or emails. I tried calling the Indian embassy in Jordan, but they couldn’t help me.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?
After they took my money, the customer service was very bad. They’re not good. They don’t answer us. I called their COO and told her I’d take legal action, and she said go ahead. She doesn’t care about anything; she only likes to take money. My entire budget went toward this app.

I gave their frontend code to another company to review, and they told me it wasn’t good. They advised me not to pay the last 10% to get the backend code. Fluper refused to refund me, even though their code consistently crashed.

We mainly communicated over WhatsApp and the phone. The owner was rude and stopped responding to my messages when I told him I wasn’t going to pay the final 10%.
