Please describe your company and your position there.

I was the Founder of a B2B Healthcare Technology Marketplace that provides a single platform for buyers and decision-makers to research and evaluate new technologies for their clinics and hospitals.

For what projects/services did your company hire Fluidic Agency Pty Ltd?

Julian at Fluidic played a key role in supporting the design, development, and launch of the marketplace across software development and digital marketing. He took over the platform from the web development team, initially managing application management, hosting, email delivery, domain management, and CDN setup using services like DigitalOcean and Cloudflare. As we needed to continue to build the platform, Fluidic built new software and managed an offshore engineer. Fluidic also managed the digital marketing strategy, including content strategy, advertising, SEO, social strategy, and promotion. Finally, Julian was involved in several sales and conference meetings and presentations on behalf of DigitalHealthX as a partner where he did an outstanding job. Fluidic was also a marketing and business development partner and helped create industry relationships and enable sales. With Julian's strong background in healthcare, he was able to represent us in the industry and create strategic connections.

What were your goals for this project?

The primary goal was to increase the discoverability of the platform to engage and register users and companies using both organic and paid channels.

How did you select Fluidic Agency Pty Ltd?

I had meetings with several agencies to understand their offerings. Most were niche and very specialized in one area or another, e.g. branding, PR, advertising, software development. Fluidic was smaller and more affordable and integrated. They were able to understand and oversee the end-to-end management of digital strategy. Julian was a pleasure to speak to, and we quickly built a great rapport with his background in research, healthcare, and engineering. In the end, I wanted someone who I could trust to think on behalf of my company and was able to see the end-to-end picture, not just acting as a consultant there for a day-job. Fluidic and Julian seemed the right fit and we were able to quickly negotiate a contract to create a good partnership.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Fluidic managed end-to-end digital strategy, software engineering, and digital marketing. This included a range of aspects as follows: technical SEO, landing page and campaign design, Adwords advertising and management, Google analytics management, on-boarding flow and conversion optimization, content and social strategy, web hosting, software development, off-shore engineering management. The agency created a social presence on professional and healthcare platforms and developed a range of long and short-form content that was shared in line with a calendar. Several campaigns and landing pages were designed and integrated into the site to test conversion with different audiences. Adwords campaigns were created and set up with pixel tracking.

What was the team composition?

I primarily worked with Julian and his lead for content strategy. There were other specialists that Fluidic worked with at that time as needed.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Fluidic developed several features to onboard users, add and share jobs, and improve the news page. Some features were developed in-house, while Fluidic also managed a small off-shore engineering team. Fluidic did a great job of fixing technical SEO and built a strategy to improve SEO through new features to increase site indexing, page visibility, and ranking on search.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Julian was great at communicating and proactively managing a variety of strategic and tactical tasks. We used Slack, phone, email, and ClickUp to manage our tasks and keep in synch. We spoke on a daily basis, keeping in touch throughout the day and sometimes on weekends as needed.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Fluidic is an impressive agency that really understands digital strategy, startup lean innovation, copywriting, behavioral design, web hosting, application, and web development, and digital marketing (including SEO, content strategy, and social). As an integrated agency, Fluidic combines these capabilities together in a holistic manner that is transformative and crucial in enabling the success of any digital strategy. Fluidic was critical to the growth of DigitalHealthX, acting as an owner and thinking about what would achieve the best outcome for the client. This terrific attitude and ability are rare and refreshing to find in an industry with more agencies than you can shake a stick at. 

The demonstrated ability of Julian established deep trust and built a strong relationship that formed the basis for a long-term partnership, that was built on a strong background in research, technology, and marketing. I wish I had found and engaged Fluidic sooner in my company and I may not have made the mistakes I did with the other agencies and software development firms.
