I'm the founder and CEO of easyinsurance, which is an aggregator platform that helps users understand, compare, and purchase different types of insurance products in Pakistan. Pakistan has one of the lowest internet penetration rates in the world. Our objective is to make insurance easier to understand and enable digital transactions so that users can purchase insurance through their debit or credit card.

What challenge were you trying to address with Finyki Digital?

Finyki Digital has been involved with us for some time now. They’re responsible for designing and implementing different marketing strategies.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our platform, being a marketplace, has two sides to our business. One is the supply side, which primarily consists of insurance companies. The other is the demand side, which is made up of insurance customers. Finyki Digital helps us with search engine marketing (SEM) for social media, branding, and planning for our digital assets. 

We market our services on all social media platforms, where our objective is trying to get us to the top of the pages. We also use LinkedIn, so our product reaches people in upper management positions.

What is the team composition?

We have one main point of contact while also we’ve worked with 2–3 other partners. One looks after the design and the other looks after the content. 

How did you come to work with Finyki Digital?

We got to know them through Resrodel.

We’ve invested less than $50,000 over these years. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around January 2018, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Insurance in Pakistan is very different from insurance all over the world. In the US, it is mandatory for you to get health insurance and to be insured. However, it's completely the opposite in Pakistan. We have to push people to think about getting insurance. It has been a very difficult task to reach out to the audiences, to give out the message that insurance is very important to you.

Finyki Digital’s team now understands how the market operates and how the audiences are responding. For example, they now know what sorts of keywords need to be used for our campaigns so that we get higher conversion rates. They've been very important in our journey so far and they have helped in keeping us afloat.

Their efforts have translated into us receiving more organic traffic, getting a better conversion rate, and reducing the customer acquisition cost. Although there have been shortcomings, that’s part of this long and gradual process for both of us.

How did Finyki Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve been using Asana because that was the tool that Finyki Digital recommended. Initially, we had troubles with it, but that was only early on in the partnership.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We had a lot of failures throughout this partnership, and it felt like we were about to shut down at some points. However, Finyki Digital has always been there for us — they’ve supported us throughout this time.

We had to keep trying different approaches to the marketing campaign, and another company may have left us, but not them. They are always ready to try new things and to come up with new ideas.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There were a lot of areas of improvement at the beginning, but right now they’re doing a great job. Even if they’re working in a new industry, they put their heart into the research and give 100%.

Any advice for potential customers?

Whatever you're going to assign them, they’re willing to put in time and effort into it. They'll come up with enough research to get you started and then you can go from there.

I am the Founder and CEO of OETP(Online Entry Test Preparation). OETP specializes in providing online coaching and study material for entrance exams of Engineering Universities and Business Schools in Pakistan.

Fiynki has been managing our Social Media accounts along with Social Media Marketing. Fiynki developed the website of OETP and they are now managing it and providing all services related to the website management.

What were your goals for this project?

OETP offers affordable educational products, but the problem was we were not able to reach the right audience. So, we hired Fiynki Digital, to help us reach the target audience in the budget we have defined, and help us dominate the market by generating sales of our products and services.

How did you select Finyki Digital?

I posted about my requirements and expectations in a Facebook group, which is a quite active and connects people who are in need of any service with the various agencies and service providers. I received several leads, had a meeting and discussion with a few of them including Fiynki Digital.

The manager of Fiynki Digital who showed up for the meeting had a real good understanding of my audience and my products. He shared his plans, covering all the aspects of my expectations and offered the services in a price range I was looking for.

Fiynki Digital occurred to me as the most qualified, interested and enthusiastic group for my work. The other companies lacked one or more of these elements. This is the reason I decided to go with Fiynki Digital.

We began our contract with Facebook Marketing. Fiynki started to manage the Facebook page of OETP and launched promotional campaigns on Facebook. We were impressed by the results, so we moved on to handover other similar tasks which include: Google ads management, ad campaigns on Instagram and also asked them to develop our website and provide services like SEO and website security.

To this date, Fiynki Digital has developed 2 websites for OETP and are managing them, managing 2 Facebook pages and 1 Instagram page and marketing on Facbeook, Instagram and Google.

What was the team composition?

My main interaction has been with the 2 team members, the Project Manager, and the Website Developer. There are other members in Fiynki Digital, like graphic designer and content creator, but I have not any direct interaction with them.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our sale cycle begins in September every year. Compared to the sales from September 2018 to August 2019 , our sales in September 2019 to August 2020 grew by 218%. This was a really huge increase. Our projections, based on the data of past 6 months, for the current sale cycle are even bigger.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Most of our discussions were on call, or via a WhatsApp. For important discussions, we conducted meetings with Fiynki Digital. Every 3 months, OETP sends a report to Fiynki Digital about the things that need to improve. In most cases we do get a prompt reply and action from Fiynki media and the issues get resolved right away. There has been a few cases, when the response was delayed on their side. We mentioned about this thing to Fiynki and they worked on to improve this.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Fiynki Digital has a really good understanding of our target audience, and knows how to capture the attention of this audience and ultimately generate sales from them. They are always open to receiving feedback and make any changes in their strategy. They offer a variety of services, because of this OETP was able to get all of its work done from one company instead of hiring different companies/individuals for these tasks.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We do approach Fiynki Digital when we feel the work/results need to be improved, and they fix that right away. Apart from this, the response time can be improved, as sometimes we get late response form Fiynki Digital.
