BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m one of the owners of a motorcycle company called Galfer USA. We manufacture and sell performance braking systems and accessories.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with the Final Code?

We’d been building and rebuilding our website for several years, but none of the sites worked properly; they were either poorly developed, had dead links, or failed to appear in Google searches. The sites were also purely informational, so we couldn’t sell any of our products online. As a result, we reached out to the Final Code to create a cleaner, more effective site, implement SEO tactics, and add e-commerce features.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We divided the project into different phases based on how much we could invest, the amount of business growth we experienced, and the level of trust between our teams. Initially, they reviewed our site to confirm all of our technical issues. They then developed a new site, ensuring that it was fully SEO-compliant and could communicate properly with Google’s crawlers. After migrating all of our product information, they developed a secure payment system that allowed users to learn about our products and purchase them.

What is the team composition?

The team consisted of about four people, but we primarily worked with one of their partners. He would convey our thoughts and ideas to the greater team, and they would provide recommendations for our project and deploy strategies.

How did you come to work with the Final Code?

I’m not sure how we originally heard of them, but I believe a colleague referred them to us.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $35,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The main development lasted from April–June 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After launching the site, we saw both our visitor volume and sales conversions triple within two months. Everyone who has seen the site loves it. It’s simple, works well, and has never gone down. Now, we have a dedicated server for our systems, and all of our links are live.

Because we’re a small company, it took us a while to invest in the first round of development. However, we quickly realized that for every dollar we spent, we gained tremendous returns. They provided a comprehensive package that made us look like web experts when we weren’t.

How did the Final Code perform from a project management standpoint?

I’d give them high marks for their project management. We typically communicated via email and phone and had in-person meetings at our office.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have an amazing, talented team that supports us, and I appreciate that they weren’t just driven by money. Rather, they were able to customize our systems while still accommodating our budget. For each round of development, we’ve seen tangible results and have only had positive returns on our investment.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re a small operation, so it would be nice if they had more resources to distribute the workload. This would allow them to provide a faster, more personalized approach and better monitor our account.
