A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of operations at Clutch. We’re a B2B ratings and reviews platform based in Washington, DC.
What challenge were you trying to address with Ferrari Enterprises?
We’d just leased a new office space on the fourth floor of a bank’s back office and hired Ferrari Enterprises to transform it into a more modern space. Since then, we’ve relied on them again to help us expand into another floor within the same building.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Ferrari Enterprises has completed two large interior construction projects: the first was for the layout of our fourth-floor office, and the second was for our expansion into the second-floor space.
For both projects, they helped us lay out how the spaces would look, working with their subcontractors to realize our designs and floor plans. This involved carpeting and flooring the spaces, refurbishing the walls (e.g., demolishing, building, painting), and inserting and removing doors.
The team also supported us on slew of odd jobs around the office such as hanging TVs, monitors, and other artwork. Currently, they still provide help on additional projects and interior construction as needed.
What is the team composition?
During the main construction, Robert (Principal, Ferrari Enterprises) was our lead point of contact. We also worked with Liz (Administrative Assistant, Ferrari Enterprises) and a few of their subcontractors for cabinetry and electrical wiring.
How did you come to work with Ferrari Enterprises?
We found out about Ferrari Enterprises through our current building management. They’d recommended a few contractors, and Robert and his team seemed like the best fit based on their general eagerness to work.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $50,000 total.
What is the status of this engagement?
Their work started in October 2016, and we consider this partnership ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Overall, we’ve been extremely happy with how quickly they’ve turned around our requests. Robert leads a responsive team, and they’re easy to work with.
How did Ferrari Enterprises perform from a project management standpoint?
In terms of project management, they do a really nice job. Their approach is a little dated, but it’s a system that works well for them. Robert generally takes the lead on coordinating the project, whereas Liz makes sure that everything has a quick turnaround.
What did you find most impressive about them?
While I haven’t worked with other building firms, Ferrari Enterprises brings a personal touch to their projects, which helps them stand out.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you’re flexible and have clear ideas around your design, they’ll be sure to execute.
Ferrari Enterprises completed the renovations quickly and now continues to take on additional tasks when necessary. The team delivers excellent work, responding promptly to requests to ensure client satisfaction. Fair pricing and an amicable approach make them attractive partners.
