Ten years of understanding audience behavior!
Feedback help agencies and brands drive sales and improve customer engagement through a deeper understanding of their audiences. Unlike traditional research methods or using software tools, we employ data scientists to observe behaviors, identify preferences and analyze findings exclusively within the digital/social space -- a unique methodology we refer to as "digital ethnography." We then provide very specific, tactical recommendations based on the research, which enables clients to immediately take action.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the executive director for a national campaign that builds public awareness about the importance of eye and vision health. We also schedule an annual conference.
What challenge were you trying to address with Feedback?
We needed assistance with our social media, writing copy, and better understanding of our audience.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve done social listening and research on our audiences. That gives them a sense of what conversations are happening surrounding the issues we’re interested in. They also run paid and organic social media activity on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Last year, they managed a social media contest for us as well.
What is the team composition?
We work with two people on their team, including a senior principal and their assistant principal.
How did you come to work with Feedback?
They came to us through one of our partners who had used them in the past. Their team came highly recommended.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested about $75,000–$100,000 on the project with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in June 2019 and continue to do so.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were expecting to receive about 50 entries for our social media contest and ended up receiving over 1,000. The contest involved collecting life-changing experiences and stories about going to the eye doctor. We had a modest investment in terms of a prize, but we went to them with our goal.
They put everything together for us, including social listening research. The entire framework for the contest as created by them. They also organized and managed the contest. We received content that was exceptional in value and can continue to be used and promoted over time.
How did Feedback perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re strong communicators, but they get busy. Occasionally, tasks aren’t delivered as quickly as they could be. All in all, they do a good job here.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their understanding of social media audiences is impressive. They’ve done a lot of research that has given them insight into which platforms people are using for certain content at certain times. That’s really helped us out.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Our best success came when we were specific about our outcomes and used their experience to guide us toward those outcomes.
The team impressed the partner by running a successful social media contest that collected valuable anecdotal content from eye patients. While the campaign was originally expected to receive about 50 entries, Feedback's organized, structured campaign earned more than 1,000 submissions.
