Our website is very old and slow. We decided to rebuild it from the ground up. We wrote the initial specifications, our graphic designer worked on the design, and fatFish were hired to build the website itself.
What were your goals for this project?
An accesible, user-friendly and clear website, sharing information our the institute, daily events and online lectures, which also includes an option to purchase books from our academic press.

2-3 new articles per week All of this in three languages (Hebrew, English, Arabic), although the latter two will not be mirror-images of the full Hebrew site, but rather tailor-made solutions per the requirements of different audiences. fatFish are working on a wordpress based solution, with lots of custom programming to make the design and functionality cover our needs.

fatFish provided a project manager (Jessica), as well as constant supervision with the company's manager (Tomer Fish), and a programmer (Lior).

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The project is still ongoing - it should be up and running by mid-April 2020.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We were in direct contact with the project manager, but when necessary, also spoke to the programmer - either in meeting or by phone. It was very effective, as well as pleasent.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
So far we are impressed with fatFish's effectiveness is translating the graphic design to a website. Our designer says he never saw such a direct and effective translation of still images to a breathing, working, website. They are also very attentive to our feedback, explaining the technical ramifications and designing exact solutions. They are also all such nice people, a pleasure to work with.
Are there any areas for improvement?
The only thing I can think of is that they don't want to bother us often, and so once proceeded before we have a chance to approve the direction taken. In this case, they back-tracked gracefully.
