Introduce your business and what you do there
I'm the CEO of a company specializing in mobile and web app development.
What challenges were you trying to address with Fascode?
We needed to develop an app for a project that aimed to provide restaurants with a delivery service. During the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, restaurants wanted to make themselves more available to have a greater reach.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Fascode created a mobile app from scratch for us; they were in charge of everything, including the app’s creativity, graphic design, and coding.
What was the team composition?
We've worked with a graphic designer, an analyst, a front- and a backend developer, and a database specialist.
How did you come to work with Fascode?
They were referred to us, so we contacted them. After that, they sent us their portfolio, and we saw that they worked on similar projects to what we required. Their affordable pricing was also important for us.
How much have you invested in them?
We've spent about $15,000 with them so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them around June 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I have several clients using the app, and some of them have sales of up to $60,000 per month, so we can say that the app is working pretty well.

We've used Zoom, Teams, and Loom.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their customer service is great; they are available 24/7 to solve any issues that might come up.
Are there any areas they could improve?
When we started with the project, we had some setbacks in its ideation. That caused some delays that we didn't consider in the initial planning. But, even though we could solve that, they did a cashback in terms of hours, and everything ended up working well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be involved in the development; if you are an active part of the process, things will achieve a greater level of communication and will move forward with ease.

Introduce your business and what you do there
I'm a product manager at an IT consultancy and development company.
What challenges were you trying to address with FASTCODE?
As a consultancy agency that also provides development services, it is sometimes difficult for us to thoroughly comply with our projects' requirements. We tried hiring more in-house staff, but that was very expensive, so working with a partner agency seemed like a good option for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We've worked with FASTCODE as our development staff for several projects. Our most recent project is developing a mobile app for HR. The app will allow our customers to manage schedules and other information related to their staff and generate KPIs and reports. We started working on this development ourselves, and they have helped us turn it into a viable project. Their team has been managing the web part of the development, using React and OJS. In addition to that, they're also assisting with architecture, user migration, among other things.
What was the team composition?
We usually work with 4–5 members of their team, including a project manager, a lead developer, and two developers for the front- and backend.
How did you come to work with FASTCODE?
We evaluated different companies when we decided to hire an agency. One of our main requests was to work in a partner model and participate in the developments alongside our partner. Their development processes allowed this, which was key for us, so we decided they were the best choice.

We started working with them in March 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

In this last project, we passed from having a product that didn’t work to having a marketable item. They've also been available to respond immediately when they encounter any bug or a minor setback.
How did FASTCODE perform from a project management standpoint?
They're very flexible; we've been working internally with Figma, Adobe Suite, Trello, and Jura, and FASTCODE's team has adapted to that without any issues.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their flexibility and openness in their processes are outstanding. As I mentioned, it was very important for us to participate in the development, and they have allowed us to do that with very good results. We've created a great co-creation process that has helped us make fewer mistakes and provide better results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We usually collaborate by communicating with their project manager, but I believe it would be interesting to open the communication between the development teams.
