TimeTrackr - Time Management Software
Summary
As an Outsource Development company, FABA Technology understands the importance of optimizing your working hours. We have tried some apps on the market, but they could not get to the bottom of the problems many companies are facing. That is why we come up with TimeTrackr, a time management application that allows you more than just time tracking.
Overview
What makes TimeTrackr a great product for both vendors and clients is that it allows users to configure and share reports, and tasks can automatically be synchronized across different platforms.
TimeTrackr also allows users to customize these reports by grouping, or categorizing tasks, or members, a feature that FABA believes everyone is looking for, one that current applications lack. This way, the data is presented more concisely and logically.
Plus, with the sharing feature, your clients can view and approve these customized reports right on the platform with just one click.
TimeTrackr is also capable of syncing data from 3rd party project management systems such as Jira and Trello. With each task created, they will automatically show up when you log in to TimeTrackr, you don't have to add them manually anymore.
Moreover, TimeTrackr also notifies users via Slack and email so that they don't miss logging their hours. For admins, we also notify when users log too much working time, so they can apply measures to maintain the working quality as well as employees' health.
Features
- Log and export timesheet weekly or monthly report
- Sync data across platforms (Jira, Trello)
- Allocate task working hours using tags
- Create and manage multiple projects
- Dynamic project roles for each user

Web Development for NFT Production Company
"On top of doing what we ask them to do, they take good ownership of technical decisions, which is very valuable."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Our company’s mission is to make Web3 and NFTs easy to create and accessible to the masses. I’m the chief product officer, which means I lead all product development.
What challenge were you trying to address with FABA Technology?
We worked with FABA to help with our various development needs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We already had an idea of what we wanted to build, and FABA came in to help us develop and execute a clear product roadmap. We initially engaged them on an hourly basis. At that point, they took on our requirements and acted as an active part of our team.
Over time, when we needed to go at a faster pace, they started providing us with full-time developers and project managers. The team took on front- and backend development, mostly for our website. They’re halfway between being a partner and an in-house team in this regard.
What is the team composition?
We started working with one person from their end and have since grown the team to about seven people. Some work on a full-time basis while others work part-time or on-demand. My main point of contact is Steve (Co-Founder & CEO), but I can also contact any of the developers at any given time.
How did you come to work with FABA Technology?
My co-founder had a good experience with FABA; he used to work with them on his previous business. We wanted to go with a partner that was proven to have quality work, so we reached out to the team.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our collaboration started last October 2021 and is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Because of my technical background, I’m able to judge their work myself. I can see if things are running smoothly and if there are any breakdowns. Though we don’t have a very previous measurement process, we’ve found that FABA’s work is definitely high-quality. It’s much better than what we would’ve received from freelancers or other agencies.
How did FABA Technology perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Jira and Slack. Some developers are not as proficient in English as others, but our communication is generally good. They’re very dedicated, and they step up to deliver ahead of the deadline.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What we like most about working with FABA is how they share their suggestions on certain projects. Whenever we come up with a business approach or a new idea, they voice their opinion and recommend a better way of doing things. On top of doing what we ask them to do, they take good ownership of technical decisions, which is very valuable.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s some work that needs to be done in terms of management and communication between our teams, but I think that’s because we’ve recently started to scale resources again. Over time, things will fall into place.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be honest about your expectations. Even their technical resources understand different business needs well, so as long as you communicate openly, they’ll do their best to help you.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm a CTO and a Co-founder of Community DevOps.com.vn. We build a tech community and a development team that supports other company build MVP products.
For what projects/services did your company hire Faba Technology?
We've been doing a project that is a combination of telecommunications and blockchain. The final product would serve around 10k concurrent active users. We faced a big challenge with the infrastructure consisting of more than 200 servers hosted on Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Local data center.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
After interviewing with few technology teams, we chose FABA. We found Faba on Google while searching for IT outsourcing companies, who can well handle both Google Cloud and AWS at a reasonable price. Since we are a startup company, the cost is matters. Not that we were careless of service quality, but after several initial meetings we find that their team has immense hands-on experience doing these services regardless of the lower price compare to other companies. They have done the job for hundred international clients, then why would we not choose Faba to do it one more time on our project?
Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.
EdTalk is an ongoing project that had been launching for a while and we already had an in-house team to take care of the coding, also system maintenance. However, during the covid-19 outbreak, clients' demands have rapidly grown up which cause us trouble handling the system performance to serve millions of people. We needed a reinforcement - a staff augmentation team - because we didn't want to hire more employees ourselves.
You know, millions of clients are coming for you, they won't wait for you to hire and train your new members. The best way is to outsource to an experienced team. FABA joined us after the MVP stage, to design and re-structure our former architecture, to improve our implementation & deployment process, and to build the Disaster Recovery plan. Plus, Faba got a hand monitoring our system 247 to ensure there is no downtime.
Until now, after our first successful contract, we are still using their managed services to monitor the system, because we don't want to build a 247 team, it can cost a lot if we do so. Moreover, our young team has learned a lot from their team, it really helps afterward.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
At first, beside Faba's recruitment process, we added our validating layer. Just to be sure. After 2 successful cases, I confidently removed that redundant step and rely solely on their process. Then, Faba had set four dedicated Senior Engineers for us to work with. They all have good skills and strong experiences to satisfy our requirements.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
They gave us a good hand to not only build a bunch of DevOps tools that help us automatically monitor the system health with ease but also contribute their experience to enhance the system configuration which in turn improves performance. We can now serve thousands of users simultaneously, the system is dynamically scaling up in no time based on the traffic. The new architecture avoids incidents and helps us quickly recover the system against failure, which used to take our team hours before.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Both teams are all familiar with process of a software product, so collaboration is not a problem to us. We communicate and interact smoothly via plenty of medium platforms.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
It seems they always want to make everything to its perfection and treat our project just like their own. It's hard to find another team like that, especially in a shortage of human resources in the IT industry at the moment. I believe Faba possesses strong and hands-on experience in large-scale systems. They have helped us to manage a bunch of servers without incidents, say 100% uptime, redundancy and then our customers are satisfied. Also, our development process had been taking to the next level with the new CI/CD system.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
So far, I'm satisfied with the outcome of this cooperation and if there are projects in the future, I think I will keep choosing Faba as our contractor.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m chief of product of a company that’s focused on shopping through gamification. Our main platform is on mobile, but we have web components as well. I’m in charge of managing the product and getting it into the marketplace.
What challenge were you trying to address with Faba Technology?
We needed a partner to help us through the technical builds of both of our platforms.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They created native apps for both iOS and Android. Before we fully engaged them, they made sure to study and examine the code left behind by our previous partner, preparing themselves to adapt it into a fully-functioning product. We took up the design components of the build, and they handled the backend infrastructure and architecture. With their help, we launched our product in mid-October 2019.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was the CTO, who doubled as a business analyst and project manager. I don’t have direct communication with the developers.
How did you come to work with Faba Technology?
I first came across their profile on Google when we were looking to change our developers. We needed someone fast because we were two weeks out from launching our trial. The team would have to be completely switched over by then. We were impressed by their abilities to meet ambitious deadlines early on.
How much have you invested with them?
We negotiated on the price, arriving at an hourly rate of $15. In total, we spent between $10,000–$50,000 on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
The engagement lasted from September–October 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We had a hard time looking for a team that was able to incorporate optical character recognition (OCR) into our technology. That involves converting images into text. The margin of error can be complex to deal with. However, they managed to pull through and provide us with the first version of the OCR. To this date, we’re still running it without many hiccups. Of course, there were a few early bugs, but there haven’t been any major breakdowns.
How did Faba Technology perform from a project management standpoint?
I appreciate my direct relationship with the project manager. Without his abilities to work between his team and mine, there could’ve been communication and language barrier problems. Fortunately, communication went smoothly through the use of Slack and Jira. They took the initiative to provide us with advice and ideas.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They display proactivity and initiative, taking on the project as if it were their own. Even in areas that they weren’ sure about, they did their own research to find a solution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything at the moment.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
