For what projects/services did your company hire Eyeful Media?
A client with both B2B wholesale e-commerce and multiple B2C retail e-commerce properties wanted to update and simplify to maximize sales and eliminate hand-entered orders between e-com and production software.
Eyeful Media had done similarly complicated migrations in the past, specifically with Shopify, so we brought them in to consult on the migration and vet the platforms to make a recommendation.

To vet multiple avenues and e-com platforms in order to undertake a complex migration of both B2B and B2C properties into a unified system.

We'd had a lengthy relationship with a client in the past that had worked with Eyeful Media on a similar project. They came highly recommended and the similarities of the businesses gave us confidence that they understood the intricacies of the businesses.

Ryne took a deep dive into the businesses with us and, through his previous experience and working relationship with Shopify, was able to vet the process and potential pitfalls, and craft an action plan that covered our bases and would result in a successful end product.
He was also able to demonstrate to the client the potential ROI and cost savings we could expect as a result of the migration, which helped sell the project.

We were introduced to the team through Antonella, the principal owner, and she identified that Ryne had been the primary hands-on project manager for our previous client. Our interface was primarily with Ryne, who did the consulting and vetting, but key decisions and discussions involved Antonella as well.

What challenge were you trying to address with Eyeful Media?
We wanted to help grow our portfolio companies from a digital marketing perspective.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Eyeful Media’s main responsibility is SEO and SEM efforts, which they carry out for about five of our clients. They also provide copywriting and PPC services, as well as social media ads. Further, the team has worked on optimizing content for several of our clients’ websites.

We’ve worked with about five or six people in total, with different subject matter experts depending on what pipeline we’re working on.

Eyeful Media drives our clients’ entire marketing strategy, and they do it efficiently and at a high level. The team works really well with us as well as the leadership of the clients we connect them with. They work with five different businesses in five different areas, and they’re able to create relevant content for each of them and drive fresh traffic. It’s phenomenal.
Overall, the number of unique visitors to our sites is up by at least three times. We’ve decreased our PPC budgets by at least 75%, while increasing MQL’s from inbound marketing channels by four times.
How did Eyeful Media perform from a project management standpoint?
They do a great job of navigating our market, keeping up well with our industry. The team creates weekly reports and dashboards of our data and analytics, providing and communicating insights. Eyeful Media’s project management style is part of what makes our engagement so successful: they give us exactly what we need in a totally digestible manner.
As a team, they’re very prompt, and they’re always available to communicate. They offer highly versatile talent, and we trust them completely to connect us with the right person for each job.

Their small size allows them to be nimble, which is one of the qualities we appreciate most. They offer a personal touch, and they never do exactly what we say just because we’ve said it. Instead, they collaborate with us, which allows us to come up with the best possible strategies and solutions.

I think it would be great if we could templatatize and package the work we’ve done already, so we can roll it out from day one with new companies we start working with. It’s challenging, but we’re actually working on it right now.

I’m the head of e-commerce at Peacock Alley, a luxury linen business based in Dallas.

We'd traditionally been strong in wholesale, but e-commerce wasn't a major focus. We needed help creating a top-notch website and e-commerce experience for consumers that matches our product quality.

Eyeful Media does a lot of things for us. They audit our e-commerce experience to show where we are right now and what it would take to grow it to the next level. They identify the challenges for growth and the opportunities. They distill our messaging for a broad audience. Within the first 90 days of my time here, they also helped us migrate web platforms and led a whole site transformation.
They not only help me hire people, they actually helped hire and place me in my position. They’ve placed all of our technology and media partners. Eyeful Media has been instrumental in helping us drive growth in conversion rate and customer loyalty. I don't think that we’d be achieving the results we are without their help. I wouldn't change anything about them. They’re so valuable to me. It sounds over the top, but they provide just the right skill set for us.
How did Eyeful Media perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team is excellent. I can give Antonella a call whenever I have a challenge. We talk probably two or three times a week at minimum. In my first 90 days, I was trying to learn the business and also migrate a website. We needed to talk and text more often. They’re flexible and able to increase or decrease their involvement as needed. They've been super helpful in getting us off the ground from the e-commerce perspective. Antonella is always willing to connect us to her broader network.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have the ability to communicate to all sorts of different people. Antonella can go deep for people that truly understand e-commerce and digital marketing. She's also experienced in conveying that message to people that are just starting in the digital space. She’s almost like a translator for e-commerce in the way that she helps people understand complex concepts. A lot of other partners struggle to communicate, even on topics where they have expertise.
I also appreciate Eyeful Media’s willingness to be involved at various levels of engagement. They’re involved both at the minute level of detail of e-commerce all the way to helping our executive leadership envision a path to grow the business digitally.

I can't think of anything specific to Eyeful Media. It's hard for any external partner to understand the complexity of our internal operations, no matter how involved they are with us.

The key is to be really open. Eyeful Media is going to give you the right advice. I've never gotten anything out of them that hasn't worked. They'll customize their strategy and thought process to your business. If you’re open to hearing them out and following their guidance, your business will grow.
