Embassy Suites Bloomington and our professional sales and catering team organize business meetings, social events, and weddings in one of our several on-site venues. My role includes managing our social media accounts and wedding website.
For what projects/services did your company hire Top Digital Marketing Agency (TDMA)?
We were looking to build a website to feature our location's wedding services.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to promote our wedding services to potential clients without them having to use our corporate website, which is not geared towards their needs.
How did you select this vendor?
I had previously worked with a leader on their staff and suggested them for this project. After several internal meetings and a few with the TDMA team, we selected them based on my past experience and their proposed plan for the project.
Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?
They gathered and provided photography of our location and we strategized to determine what was most important information for the website. We then worked together to plan out the design and custom features of WordPress. After building out the site to our specifications, their team trained us on how to use and manage the admin side.
What was the team composition?
We worked primarily with a project manager. They led the design and training processes as well.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We've been generally pleased with the work their team provided. This website now gets is own traffic, which has led to new website leads. We will be working with their team within the next year to review our site and eventually redesign it.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
They were flexible, which we appreciated during the project. They used a project management platform that allowed us to share changes and track progress but also encouraged us to reach out via phone or email if we preferred.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They took time to understand our goals and ensured that we were getting the end product we needed. They were very easy to communicate with and gave us all of the tools we needed to maintain the site ourselves.
The new website creates a tailored experience for users looking to utilize the venue for weddings specifically, which has increased the number of new leads. Flexible communication and transparent project management fostered an open workflow that yielded high-quality design and functionality.
