Rubius Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company pioneering a new era of cellular medicines. Their proprietary RED PLATFORM™ was designed to genetically engineer and culture Red Cell Therapeutics™ that are selective, potent and ready to-use cellular therapies for the potential treatment of several diseases across multiple therapeutic areas.
As part of the its rapid growth, Rubius had reached a stage where streamlined communication, along with sharing of information between employees and across departments and locations had become more challenging and fragmented. In order to maintain and cultivate the great culture already at Rubius and provide a modern, digital means for internal communication, we worked together to create the company’s first intranet.
The new intranet, named "The Artery" as a result of a company-wide naming contest, serves as a direct source of company and industry news, connects employees via community chat rooms, provides easy to use company calendars, serves up daily announcements, searchable directories and org charts for finding coworkers, and much more. Built on SharePoint and Office 365, the intranet seamlessly fits into Rubius’ current Microsoft technology stack and helps both simplify and enable communication within the company.
